Good luck with her.

It has been raining all night so far... but it's Oregon in the fall/winter, what do you expect? I suggest that everyone brings a poncho to wear underneath their regular clothing to keep from getting completly soaked and frozen. For shoes I suggest something that doesn't mind any mud, and water wont bother.

If you're looking for a game to test out the sport, this would probably be a pretty good one, the field doesn't get all that wet, and because it is inside of a valley there is ZERO wind (excilent for snipers... too bad I'm not one, but a good sniper could own the field). Remember that you may want to bring something to combat any blackberries that we haven't cleared, whether it be a KABAR (like me), or a pair of nail-clippers.

I'll post another update in the morning, but unless Oregon City floods overnight, the game will be on. If anyone has any last minute issues/questions, or wants to join in feel free to ask here, or we'll see you at Danielsons.

If there is a very pressing issue, my cell phone number is 503-453-2252, if I don't answer it then please leave a message for I check it regulary.

We're on! The weather cleared up a lot overnight, and it isn't even supposed to rain. I'll see everyone at 11:00 AM, gotta go start setting up the field in a little bit, I'll try and check this thread once more before I go.

A big thanks to those who came, I had a good time trudging through the 2 inch deep mud on the hill. Maybe in a month or so, if there is a time when it's a little less wet, we could have another skirmish at this field.

k well i heard you guys had fun at this event for the next one we will give people at least a month notice. And we hope we have better weather conditions even though it didnt rain i heard it was muddy.

An example of this would be the new kid. he was hidding and was about to spray but when he shot nothing came out beacuase he had stuck his barrel int he mud.

You heard wrong.. It rained like crazy. Lots of mud... lots of rain... lots of flowing water on the trails. the mud was over the tops of my boots by the last game. My son lost his boots a few times. (lesson to be learned.. tie them puppies on tight)
