I'm CPR and AED certified, and I know I'm going to be getting other medical training in the near future. What exactly that training is, I'm not quite sure yet.

I will post the costs when I get them.

Please note: If you are already certified, that's great, but it is not the point of this thread. I want to know who would like to BECOME certified.

I just got off of the phone with Northwest Training Center.

A private class would be $40 for the BLS and Basic First Aid. They are VERY flexible as to scheduling for private classes. Attendance at this class gets you an AHA certification which is recognized nationally, so it's valid in Oregon and Washington, and can be used if you're looking at entry level medical employment if that's your thing. You will also get a textbook as part of the cost.

What I need is at least 15 people to commit to this class for either early December or mid January. The class should take about 8 hours. If you post here that you want to take the class, please let me know if you have any preference as to day and time.

Mid January, Saturday, daytime - after 10am, before 10pm. The earlier in the day, the better (as in, for me, 10am-6pm would be ideal).

Shit, $40 gets me a textbook and a certification - consider me there.

Someone from W.A.R will be there. I'd like to get Stu (our combat medic and resident insulin junkie) into the class, or myself AND Stu, but definitely sign W.A.R up for one slot.
