What: Skirmish in Florence: Games TBD (To Be Determined)
When: October 7th @ 11 to whenever (Subject to Change)
Where: Florence, Oregon (Directions to field to come)

Nothing super special; going to host a skirmish down here in Florence. Got a new field with some choice terrain and plan on using it. If interested, post here or PM me. Those of you who came out to the Rhody Skirm back in June I would like to welcome you back.

Directions, pictures of field, games to be played, and more details to come.

It's not so windy anymore.....but this summer it was downright shitty. I worked fulltime outside in the sun....and the wind ruined it. Anyway, the field is pretty much shielded from that sort of thing anyway.

Correct, unless you go out of bounds and find the huge (i mean friggin arduous to climb) sand dune then your gun will be safe. We won't be playing in the sand at all. It's one of those cool places on the coast where this is actually dirt soil.....which is somewhat rare.

Directions:
First go to www.mapquest.com and driving directions. Enter Florence Oregon 97439 as the destination.

Now, once you get to Florence(or close to) this is what you'll need to do:

If your headed south on Highway 101 then continue through Florence going south and head across the bridge which spans the Siuslaw River. On your right just after you get off the bridge is a gravel road. There will be signs and/or people to direct you from that point.

If your coming via Highway 126 then its a similar story. As you come into Florence take a left onto Highway 101. Continue over the large bridge and on your right just after you get off the bridge is a gravel road. There will be signs and/or people to direct you from that point.

If your coming headed north via Highway 101 when you get close to Florence (You'll be headed down a hill, you'll see Florence across the river and a Best Western on the right side of the Highway) don't cross the bridge. Take a left just prior to reaching the bridge.
