What about the Sneak & Peek? We won that one.
That is one of the reasons I loved that mission. You honestly think we had a chance? I told everyone not to expect to win, but to try anyway and to have fun.

Actaully I enjoyed whoever went up second was that you guys Junto? Cause you were the only team that actaully gave us a firefight that lasted more than 10 seconds.. haha. (Yes I know your mission wasn't to engage us but we couldn't help hearing you guys romp through the forest.)

We went third. No one saw us. No firefight. Part of the team went silent through the woods, the others went on the road in case there needed to be a distraction or a covered retreat. The jeeps drove up and down the road a half dozen times. No one saw us.

I and the rest of the Walter Mitty Detachment are pretty excited to have put in a good showing at our first event, but I suspect beginners luck may have played a hand.

In fact, I think we'll just retire now while we're still on top. ;-)

Seriously though, HUGE thanks to 5RAC and the OPFOR for creating a truly amazing day of Airsoft. And to the other teams, it was an honor to share the field with you.

interesting thing about the recon mission was that somehow 3 of our team mebers just kind of...wandered off on their own. they weren't shot, and were never spotted. they just sort of got lost.

I hope you don't mean Vulcan and I, because we were doing what we were instructed to cover the recon team then go for assasination. It just took forever for us to get back.

I think that was WMD, I manuevered behind the target to get a shot since the closest I could get otherwise was 76yds. Since the 2 guys in the back corner left I was able to get back there making as much noise as I wanted ;) Someone with a SAW by the tents (150ds out, lol) decided to unload half a bucket at me though (you missed! ha ha).

I thought I hit the target, maybe since it wasn't form the front it didn't leave a mark. Oh well.

Nice to finally meet you face to face Knuckles.

During the Sparrow mission some of WMD enjoyed our visit with 5RACs UN drivers while the EATF sniper took his toll on us. The Systema, Sniper Rifle, SOCOM and M203 demo after the mission was outstanding. Thanks to EATF!
