Second place still sucks...but not as much as 3rd. :D

Great job WMD!

It was great seeing all of my friends out there and meeting alot of the newer faces around here.

Thank you everone for providing us with perhaps the best, most wholesome, honest, no BS airsofting experience, ever.

How did you guys determine the winner of the Sneak a Peak mission? No one hit the target.

Yeah...I shot what we determined to be the "Command Element" square in the face...as it was, he was a "photographer".

Regardless, we photographed, stalked, and removed the "target".

My sniper team had a clean, clear, easy shot on the paper target. I also had a clean shot on it while it was being carried by your sniper to be relocated to a tent opening.

To me, it looked like a sniper returning his training tools to the armory.

In the future, we will shoot the paper target, then shoot the photographer in the head...

 ROFLMAO
I don't care who you are, thats funny!

Regarding how 'Sneak a Peak' was scored;
The mission was graded based upon completion of objectives.
The recon portion was scored by comparing intel presented by the participating team against a pre-determined list of specific elements within the encampment that were worth recon points. This is why you had the camera.
Body counts affected scores for all stations.
In 'Sneak a Peak', assassinating the command element was a primary objective, but even if you fail at the primary objective (and this goes for all 4 trials,) you still score points for body count and any sub-objective tasks completed (ie; finding the pilot in Sparrow Down.)

We used station specific, standardized scoresheets for each station to ensure each team would be graded on the same criteria.

I know some of that seemed pretty damned tough to accomplish but remember, it was pretty damned tough for each and everyone of you.
You all did a bang up job and most importantly, it was a FOOKIN blast!!

Cheers!

That is one of the reasons I loved that mission. You honestly think we had a chance? I told everyone not to expect to win, but to try anyway and to have fun.
