The no-mesh thing is probably for insurance reasons.

I dont know why they dont allow the mesh. My best guess is the varying quality and size of gaps/holes in the mesh. I will ask for you.

well when I go I will bring both my masks I have. My old paintball one and my mesh one which is rated higher then my paintball one in FPS. Mesh is rated at 400-500fps and the paintball is rated at 300fps. So I should be fine with limts being useally around 350 and snipers at 400/500 fps.

This game is gonna be sweet I'm going to it with my friend (even tho is only 4 hr away for me).

this is goingto be cool man 3 days with a night game on sat. This is me and my friends first big op to go to so were all excited about it. Oh and we need more people to go as well I think Pale Horse here said something like aobut 25 people or so are regesterd (posted this on evergreens forum). This is a local game for some of you so come to this. The idea of the game sounds cool too.

To encourage game play the sponsor has come up with a way to make it more affordable for all who come out.

"As the sponsor of Operation Thermopylae, I want to first tell you I am grateful for your questions and your support. My company is new to this game and wanted to not only support a segment of our community but also find ways to grow and improve our business. It is a learning curve for me and I’m trying to keep up with all of you. Thank you for your patience.

I would like to offer a special deal to encourage your participation. My company will still offer the same amount of prizes. But, to open this to all competitors, I would like to lower the entry fee to $40. In this respect, we would have a graduated fee structure. Competitors at the 40-dollar level would get to play and be eligible for Spartan and Shoooters gift certificates. In order to qualify for a large door prize, the AEGs, green gas guns, etc… the price for two days of play would be $60.

We would also like to offer the following one day rates: Saturday would be $35.00 and Sunday $25.00. These participants would then be eligible for the Spartan and Shoooters gift certificates.

If you are among those who already paid the $70 fee, we will offer a refund to whatever level you wish or provide three additional door prize tickets to increase your chances at the prizes.

Please be aware a fair portion of all proceeds are going to Camp Camia.

Please either register via paypal at spartancutlery@comcast.net, via check or come in to any of our stores at Northtown, Columbia Center or the Valley or you can register at the site that day."

If you have any questions let me know.
