In June, I was listening to episode 11 of Deadrag Radio (R.I.P.) when they suggested reading a book by the person they interviewed titled "Paintball and Airsoft Battle Tactics" written by Christopher E Larsen. Long story short, I bought the book curious to pry open its interior and consume its essence.
As Larsen said: it is only an enjoyable book for those who are serious about doing milsim. It does have some basic individual tactics in there, but the meat of the entire thing is team tactics and drills.
I personally Loved the book. It was simple (although you need to remember the acronyms well) easy to read, and even had some humorous parts in it (if you read it: Tactical Teddy Bear... find it!)
All in all, I think this book IS a piece of tactical equipment because it is invaluable for a team (and Larsen even suggests bringing the book with you, should you forget something.)
Has anybody else read it? I suggest reading it (I'm a noob, so take it with a grain of salt.)
