Camo is not all created equal as some may tell you. Make sure you get Official Multicam. Both Propper and Truspec have the official Crye pattern.
Some of the knockoff Multisham stuff is pretty bad. With off colors and poor color fades that look like they were printed with a dot matrix printer.
Crye put solid research into the stuff and it works exceptionally well in a lot of terrians. The knockoff stuff just will not have the same performance as the Crye stuff.
I prefer Truspec over Propper. The cut (fit) on the Propper stuff is not the same as their ACU stuff, and does not meet the same specs. The jacket is really long, way to long IMO. Also Propper only offers Ripstop fabric which is strong but will fade much more quickly than the twill type fabric offered by Truspec.
Truspec also offers ripstop in a true ACU cut, but I actually like the BDU style set which comes in a thick twill fabric. They have solid stitching and the color of the camo pattern seems to be more rich and defined than on the Ripstop fabric.
The Crye Combat set comes in a twill fabric. Again, durability. Ripstop tends to form a white grid pattern on top of the camo rather quickly with wear. This can reduce the effectiveness of the pattern, Especially at close range.
