It's not at hill rode. it's a little bit further down hwy 126 just past mile marker 5. Bernhardt Hts road. There is a big green sign at the bottom of the hill.

The field itself is on private land and way out of town. We have never had a problem before, so there is no reason that this will happen.

RedSpo0n wrote:Sky, I'm having a hard time following your directions online - I can only assume it's obvious once I'm driving?

(I'm looking at mapquest, and your directions seem to tell me that I should be looking to get onto Hill Rd. which heads back northeast along 126, Right?)

The road is Bernhardt Heights Rd. It is in Cushman, very near Mapleton, and slightly north of Florence. If you are coming down via I-5 then Eugene, you should be heading south on Hiway 126 towards Florence. You will cross a bridge into Mapleton, and take a left. After about 5+ minutes of driving, you will see a road turnout on your right. Thats Bernhardt Heights Road. Don't use mapquest, for some reason it doesn't recognize Bernhardt Heights Road.
Yahoo Driving Directions
From Eugene

Destination Bernhardt Heights Rd. Cushman. That road happens to cross the railroad tracks that run parallel to the highway. So, once on Bernhardt Heights Road, just stay left all the way up, and we should have some signs, one on the highway, and on the way up the road, until you see someone, who will direct you to a parking space.(probably me)

Does that help? :?

I hope this is acceptable to all of you. The owner of the field will have a list that we need to sign at the field releasing the owner of liability for injuries. It's no big deal, since all of Airsoft Pacific's events are similar. You need your parents to sign it if you are under 18.

On another note, Warriors 1st BN provided a map that shows the field, relative to florence.

It looks like I will have some food available, for free. I figure since your driving here, you deserve some nourishment. Stuff like soda and chips....however, soda can dehydrate, and since it may be pretty warm, I'll bring a nice big pallet of 24 bottles of water in addition. I'll have a little tips jar but it's hardly even recommended that you put any in it. Thanks.

I'm getting a ride from someone who isn't going to participate in the airsofting. Is there anywhere nearby worth their time that they could chill at until the skirms done with?

Yes ,definitely. Florence is like 5 or less miles away, and there will be the Rhododendron Festival going on. All sorts of stands selling clothes and merchandise, the carnival, car show, tons of stuff like that.

I've had to put CQC4 planning into overdrive due to having to change the venue at the last minute, unfortunately I'm too busy to get away.

There is a waiver that we will need signed by your guardian if you are under 18. It is available on the field for signing, but if you are under 18 and you won't have your parent or guardian with you, you should print it out at home and have your parent or guardian sign it there, then bring it with. It says it was organized by Logan Amirian, which isn't true, but big whoop, he helped.

Here it is for printing it out:

http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?wealo ... 08#details

Weather Forcast for May 20th: Day: Cloudy with a few showers. High near 65F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

I doubt we'll see any showers at all, so don't worry about bringing impermeables or goretex.

This is one of my last post's prior to the game.

We would appriciate it if everyone loaded their mags prior to coming down, that way there will be less downtime and gameplay will start quicker.

Also, a friend of mine is lacking .20 ammo for his AEG. He ordered it but Airsplat is being a piece of crap so he's not going to get it on time. I would rather not loan him ammo again. He is willing to buy .20s for a reasonable rate.

If you have any questions, post them quickly or PM me. Thanks!
