Cyclops wrote:Well for the short time I played I had fun playing. Over at the orchard by the log forts.... A guy got a good shot at me and I think I surprised him (spooked him as well). and at the same time I jumped and tried to move down a steep hill and lost my footing. Slipped and fell ON MY SNIPER gun and broke it. At least it is just the stock. I recently had hip surgery a year ago. Well that's what hit my sniper gun when I landed. Over all went to ER and X Rays came back ok. Jst inflamed muscles which is putting pressure on some of my nerves. Thing will heal but I'm going to lay low for awhile.
I wanted to say thank you for my team stepping up and helping me. Also Riddick and the 2 medics (sry mind wasn't really there when we chatted I forgot your call sign). GREATLY Appriciated.
Even tho I played for what 2 hrs maybe I still had fun. Over all win or lose (not sure if points were used in this game) I still have fun running with each and everyone one of you. This sport is about going out and have fun and meet new friends. OK just cut to the chase... xoxoxoxox meds are REALLY kicking in and if I continue nothing is going to make sense.

Objectives: I'm bored with the objectives always being placed in the same close areas. This field is HUGE!. Let's use it.
Respawns: "Annex" respawns were located in retarded spots. Why would you put them in the middle of the f***ing field? It takes one person with a saw to shut it down (like we did) and turn it into a verbal debate about respawn rules. Also, why put a team respawn right next to the one area on the field that draws people in? Spread them out. Give them room to maneuver instead of degrading down into fights over spawn camping, and than having to "air drop" a group of people and change the spawn locations because one team is getting the shit kicked out of them.
Real World Issues: If there is a real world issue on the field, call it out. If it's a blind man, yell blind man. If it's police, yell police. If it's a medical situation, yell out real world medical. Don't just gather around the person with no dead rags on and not calling any sort of cease fire. There are plenty of highly trained people at these events that can deal with pretty much any situation appropriately. You just need to make it known that there is an issue.
Overall, I had a good day of shooting people with my bolt. I love having the orchards to move through and observe the enemy for 20 minutes before they know I'm there. I wish more people would use the fringes of the field and not just congregate in the village, but I guess the draw has shifted from large field tactics, to COD airsoft. Either way, glad I made it out and got to shoot people, see people I haven't seen in a long time, and shoot those I've never met.
