Storyline
YZ has become a half crazed old man. He has started hollering randomly at people, “Whippersnappers!” and, “Have some respect!”. His tyranny must end.
He must be captured.
M.O.B. (Multiple Operator Battalion) has assembled to capture him and end his rampage.
YZ and a small contingent of geezers have armed themselves with Heavy Weapons, Sniper Rifles, Booby Traps, and Determination. And possibly some really bad jokes.
Mission
M.O.B. : Capture YZ and escort him to the Prison. Prevent Team YZ from infiltrating the Prison to rescue him.
Team YZ : Prevent YZ’s capture. In case he is captured, infiltrate Prison and rescue YZ.
To capture YZ
You must first shoot him until he says hit to incapacitate him. You must stand directly in front of YZ and sing Happy Birthday to You. If you are hit while you are singing, someone else may start the song over, but YZ MUST still be incapacitated.
Upon capture, You must tell YZ to remove the magazine from his weapon until he is either:
A) Escorted successfully to the Prison
or
B) Rescued by his men.
If you do not tell him to remove his magazine upon capture, he will have the opportunity to shoot you and escape.
Team YZ - How to rescue YZ
You must first eliminate the escort, causing YZ to stop and remain until his men arrive. Then, you must touch him on the shoulder and say, “Come with me”, at which time he may put his magazine back into his weapon and defend himself. Escort him back to the Fortress, and then he is back in the game.
M.O.B - To recapture YZ
M.O.B. must eliminate all YZ escorts and sing Happy Birthday to You again.
Cake will be served to all Operators who participate.
There will be a raffle at the end of the game. Each entry gets one raffle ticket. Extra raffle tickets may be purchased for $1.
Camouflage Designation:
Wear whatever camouflage you like. We will be using armbands to designate teams.
Water
Make sure you take water onto the field, or keep it in your car and take a break whenever you feel the need. Water is also available at the Action Shack.
Bathrooms
DO NOT relieve yourself in the field, USE THE PORT-A-POTTY!! Any violation of this will be cause for immediate removal from the game with no refund.
Ruleset
Ammo Restrictions
No limit to the amount of mags you can carry. Mids, hi-caps, whatever.
EXCEPTION - NO BOX MAGS IN M4s.
*The use of Box Mags is limited exclusively to YZ’s team, unless being used on a SAW or other Support Weapon.
Box Mags are for SAWs. Bring a SAW, use a box mag! NO SAW... NO BOX MAG!
Action Acres is a BIO ONLY field.
Don’t be that guy. Use bio!
FPS Limits (.20 field ammo will be used at the chrono station).
AEG/Polar Star - 400 FPS (Polar Stars MUST have tournament lock)
DMR - 450 FPS (DMRs MUST have full auto disabled.)
Bolt Action/Sniper Rifles - 550 FPS
Co2 Pistols - 350 FPS or under.
Green gas pistols exempt from chrono.
Re-Spawn Rules
Everyone will have 2 bandages with 2 Medic revives before having to go back to spawn.
YZ will get UNLIMITED Medic revives, with no having to go back to re-spawn. Medics cannot self revive.
IF YOUR GUN IS HIT BY A BB, IT COUNTS AS A HIT.
When in doubt, call yourself out!
Call your hits and use a Dead Rag.
Play with Honor.
Safety Kills
Be judicious with your use of the safety kill.
HONOR ALL SAFETY KILLS, EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE.
Bring all Safety Kill disputes to admin. Abuse will be frowned upon, even penalized.
AEG users - 30 feet. A sidearm is recommended.
Polar Star users - 30 feet. A sidearm is recommended
Bolt Action/Sniper Rifle Options -
Snipers have 3 options when engaging a target within 50 feet.
1) Use a pistol
2) Retreat to 50 feet or more.
3) Let your target pass to 50 feet or more.
Booby Traps
There may be booby traps, you just never know!
Grenades
Thunder B grenades have a 20 foot kill diameter. If you are within 10 feet, call yourself hit.
Launched (NOT thrown) Nerf Vortex Footballs have a kill diameter of 30 feet.
If you are within 15 feet, call yourself hit.
DO NOT THROW THUNDER B GRENADES OVER ANY WALLS.
Knife Kills
No "plastic" or "Nerf" swords.
Using real knives in game play is strictly forbidden.
Plastic and rubber training knives ONLY.
To knife kill an opponent, you must tap them on their body, preferably on the shoulder.
Do NOT throw knives. Knife kills are silent kills. If you are knife killed, DO NOT YELL HIT! Quietly place your dead rag on your head and follow game re-spawn rules.
Eye/Face Protection
Players under the age of 14 are REQUIRED to wear face protection.
A shemagh or tactical wrap does not qualify as face protection.
All players are required to wear full seal eye protection.
Shop glasses are not acceptable.
Face protection, such as a mesh half mask with goggles or a full facemask, is highly recommended.
If you do not have acceptable protection, go to the Action Shack and get a mask. They are free.
You only have ONE set of eyes, make them last.
Field Rules
No drugs or alcohol allowed
Barrel covers “on” at all times off the playing area
Goggles “on” at all times in the playing area
No cursing or obscene gestures
No arguing with the ref or host
Magazines out in the parking lot
Do not fire/dry fire your gun in the parking lot
No”playing on” after you are hit
Do not cross any fences
Do not shoot at animals
Do not shoot at airplanes
Do not climb on bunkers
Report all safety issues to the ref or staff
