Camp R&R Presents “The Gulf”

Mission Statement:in 1991 Iraq having been totally and humiliatingly defeated, its leaders signed up to a series of U.N. National Security council requirements. Among the most important of these were the unmasking, verification and then destruction of its apparatus for research and production of its weapons of mass destruction (WMD’s). Beginning in April 1991, the U.N. Security council passed a series of resolutions establishing the authority of the U.N. special commissions and the internal atomic energy agency to carry out the work of dismantling Iraq’s arsenal of chemical, biological and nuclear programs and scud type ballistic missiles. This resulted in the deployment of a large U.N. inspection team, which was hampered at every stage by the Iraqis and which withdrew after strong protests, its work unfinished in 1998. Even after the war in 2003, it was believed to that supporters of the Suddam Hussein regime were continuing the work of its biological and chemical weapons, though this was only speculation. It has now come to light that even though Suddam Hussein was captured and executed for his crimes, his supporters have carried on the work involving biological and chemical weapons.
Thanks to the combined efforts of the American CIA and British MI6, the location of these chemical weapons and their next test site has been located in a small town, just west of Central Iraq. With the world watching, the U.N., United States, and Britain, in cooperation with the world health organization, are preparing an all out assault on the region in an attempt to put these WMD's to rest for good. If they are unsuccessful the civilians in the region will become the proverbial lab rats for this chemical weapons test.

Not my field or rules, but normally sniper rounds are not required to be Bio, just because you can't get Bio in the upper weights. If you plan on shooting a AEG or DMR .. let say with 0.32 .. yes Bio is required because of the amount of ammo you would be laying down.

Great Game yesterday ..

- There was enough structure to keep everyone on track without being too much for the newer players and there seemed to be a lot yesterday. (hope they had a good time)
- Time schedule was kept a lot better than normal and even though the lunch break ran long, not near as bad as at Montavilla conflict or SAM Site.
- Your props are always great ... the chemical bombs and detonator devices were cool.

- I did not experience any hacking and only heard of a few instances
- Last but not least... yes GREEN did recover the detonator for the second chemical bomb!

Keep up the good work and we will see you at the next one!
