A buddy of mine lost a WE Glock in a tan Serpa holster Sunday on top of a ridge east of the MOUT site. It was after we broke contact from Russian or maybe Tatar forces during the very first contact of the day. I passed it as fell back from my foxhole and called it out to him but he didn't hear me and didn't pick it up. Afterwards we went back and checked the area and it was gone. I will pay shipping plus $20.00 reward for its return. We have helmet cam footage of a couple of guys that overran us right before, and if it comes to that I will post it up to see if there are some people we can ask directly about where it went.
The owner posted a general lost item post on Milsim West's FB but he's not on AP so I did.
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Great event.

I got in shape for the event, and lost a bunch of weight, then took my shirt off and Shogun called me fat. I was sad and I hate him forever and ever.

Barracks was a nice touch, so I didn't have to pack things.

This was by far one of the greatest outdoor events I have ever attended. I love the use of command structure and team work that was forced on the attendees of the event. At big games I see way too many people going lone wolf and ruining the game for the rest of us. This was definitely not the case for my platoon.
It is unfortunate that I sustained a sprained knee Saturday night and had to miss out on the fast paced shoot out on Sunday. However, shit happens and breaking yourself is a part of any athletic sport/hobby. I'm glad that we had a very professional EMT on our side to check me out and make the right call for me to go to the ER. Thanks Abe.

A big thanks to the staff of Milsim West for putting on this event. As I told Josh before the event started just the atmosphere of checking into the event was enough to tell that the event was going to be worth the money. Hell, any one of the missions I was involved in was worth the price of admission alone. I had an absolute blast and I can't wait to come out again.

Over all.. A great event to attend. Nothing is ever perfect, and I have a few gripes, but the positives far out weigh any negatives. MSW has an unbelievably professional staff, and puts on the best immersive MilSim events. I look forward to attending future events.

Highlights: Got a pistol kill on a Ruskie trying to heal his wounded comrade, and almost got to see those same dead/wounded Ruskies get blowed up.

I had fun. Wish I didn't roll my ankle mid-day Saturday as that axed my ability to play Saturday night/Sunday.

One thing I'd like to suggest for the next game, is do a hands on/ live action demo of what a blank firing rifle hit would be like. The biggest gripe I heard was people not calling their blank hits. Granted it's kinda hard to tell, but a demo by the staff during briefs would make it less confusing for all.

I think the largest issue with blanks is the fact not everyone is using them and so you get more focused on the bbs or some people using blanks think that they're going to be pinpoint accurate at 300+ yards shooting 3 round bursts at a moving target with an AK. Also, it is quite frustrating when you're BBs are dropping 5ft in front of someone with blank fire and they want you to take the hit.

I know I took one blank hit and I really couldn't tell if they were shooting at me or someone else. When I did reenacting it was much easier due to the fact you had everyone running blanks and they were much more experienced with it. At Darial Gate I saw a lot of the blank fire just sprayed in an arc. Kind of hard to tell if you're the one being shot at if they put one round at you, one round 20 feet to your right, and so on.
Blanks at night are near impossible to tell who they're shooting at, I know there were complaints at DG about that which was silly. I see night blanks as more of atmosphere unless its blatantly obvious.

With ARs, I hear the BFAs are an issue and blocking the flash and making it hard to tell who is shooting. It is suggested that you invest in one of the hollywood blank adapters that fit inside your flash hider.

I have always seen people on both sides blatantly not taking hits from blanks at every mix game I've been to.
Mixing blanks and airsoft is always going to have issues.
