bolt action or sniper rifles whats the difference?

He introduced HPA because you can convert any gas sniper rifle to use HPA. which pretty much makes its disadvantage of behaving poorly in colder climates go away.

If you already have an hpa tank and regulator, its a very cheap upgrade. Send it in to bingoairsoftworks.com. And he will convert the mag for like 25 bucks.

In the pac nw, i wouldnt own a non-hpa gas sniping rifle. Since the temperature differences between morning and afternoon alone are pretty large. Not to mention its 48 degrees and cloudy in every season except for summer. So if you dont want to fork money over on an HPA conversion. I would go with a spring powered bolty.

To start with the best snipers (in Airsoft) employ spring powered bolt action rifles. They are more realiable and much more accepting of upgrade parts which are much more plentiful then upgrades for a gas bolt action. Secondly it's the person or the "sniper" that's makes the rifle. Buying a bolt action and carrying it doesn't mean you're a sniper with an über sniper rifle. Can't tell you how many times I see people running around with crap bolts and suffering because of it. Before investing the money in a bolt Airsoft rifle (it's an investment, you'll end up spending almost $5-700 before its any good. (I've built two in the last 4 years) At least $300 before you can effectively use it in a skirmish. So before spending the money train and play using sniper tactics with nothing more then your aeg. By the time you can consistently kill the enemy without them ever having the slightest idea of what happened you will not only have the skillset down pat but you will have also saved up enough money to start your rifle build.

you are wrong, and to prove it i spent my entire airsoft career with a cheap a$$ bolt and tore every tier one operators name in two with said rifle. from the top of the list to the bottom, every name has been cloven in twain by my cheap a$$ scout rifle or my cheap a$$ TSD M700.

Yea? funny thing is someone honored it. that was when honor was part of the game....not who had the flashiest gear or the latest gear. when we prided ourselves with honor and integrity.

you remember those days right?

now i just carry my bolt scout rifle that shoots sub 400 and ill shoot you up close , i could care less.

not giving anyone a safety kill option ever, i am just going to shoot you.

those were the days when i prided myself on many MANY long distance shots.

now i carry a AEG and will just hose you down at close range just like every one else.

Firstly, Oregon is a somewhat cold climate, so a spring sniper is advised. But if you want to spend some extra dough, then get a gas powered sniper. It's going to cost you extra for mags and gas. Co2 would be the best because it shoots higher than Green Gas.

i'm speaking purely from personal experience and observation. I'm not trying to discredit anything you've done this is purely what i've encountered. I'm sure you're very well versed in your fieldcraft to have achieved those accomplishments with a stock springer.
