[SKR] Opforthewin Skirm in Silverton

Opforthewin is hosting a free skirmish in Silverton.

Date: 27 April, 2013
Location: 2634 Lorence Rd NE, Silverton, OR, 97381
Google Maps centered on the location, because it thinks the address is in the middle of a field.

Teams will be divided on the field based on uniform, so if you want to play with your friends, wear the same pattern. In the case we cannot divide teams evenly, colored duct tape will be provided.

Chrono will open at 0900.
We'll deploy out to the field at 1030.
We will continue to play until people want to stop, or 1600h-ish, whichever comes first.

FPS Limits and Engagement Distances. All FPS limits are calculated with 0.20g bbs, see this thread for conversions.
Weapon/Weapon: FPS Limit {Min. Engagement Distance}
Pistols/CQC Guns: 350 {1-5ft}
Rifles/Support Weapons: 400 {25ft}
DMR (Semi-auto only): 450 {45ft}
Bolt: 550 {60ft}

WAIVER/RELEASE OF LIABILITY
We'll have waivers and pens on site, but will not be providing a PDF for filling out beforehand. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian has to be present ON SITE to sign a waiver, Unfortunately I will not be making exceptions to this rule for this game, but will be working out a system for future games.

When you arrive, if you do not already know where to park, just sit in the driveway or road and look confused (maybe wave at me if you recognize me) and one of us will direct you.

We will be testing out an objective-based variant of downed pilot, as well as our normal half-hour to hour warmup of deathmatching, and possibly some capture the flag variants. If anyone would like to (we need a sniper), We could do a sniper hunt for our warmup as well.

my squad and I have ben looking for a fun new place to airsoft, iv herd good things about silverton games. I think it's about time we checked out what all the hype is about. I'm going to do every thing we can to be there with at least 1 or 2 of my squad members.

will (cool burning/biodegradable) smoke granades be ok?

do thunder B granades count as kills?

ps: yall sound way more prepaired for uneven teams. Not sayin names but this weekends game sucked because the admins didn't give 2 shits about making the teams even. We offerd to payfor/buy colored tape for both teams. there answer was "don't worrie about arm bands. the opfor team doesn't need to play by the rules when defending there country" they said this aload duriing the safety breifing for every one to here.

Nug, and I are in fosho! Called an old friend that used to airsoft, and never heard of A.P. and he's putting the word out to the guys he used to play with. Hopefully we'll show up in numbers!!! Love the Silverton skirms- good guys, descent games, not much B.S., and not a lot of hackers(usually). Looking forward to smokin' fools!!!

Yes, its free (Thanks Kommodant for pointint that out to the person)

Pyro smokes: unless it is at least fairly wet, i won't allow pyrotechnics, and even if it is everything has to be approved by me on the field, on the day of the game.

Chemical Smokes: Depends on the grenade.

Thunder B: I don't enforce a "thunder b = kill" rule, but most people will call it if one lands right next to them.

I will try to make sure my chrono is actually working properly for the game.

EDIT: Being late is never really an issue with our games.
