I totally agree with casca, but aren't the fps rules a slight bit bedable if the gun is say 315 or 310 FPS.
First of all guns don't kill people. I could stab someone with a fork...LETS OUTLAW SILVERWARE! -ACID-

Thank you Mullet.

SoulReaper, the rules may very well have some flex in them, but it really is up to an event official to make that information known. Personally, if I were on the event staff --and I'm not-- I'd keep that info under my hat in hopes that everyone would try to get as close to 300fps as possible instead of attempting to game it to the max limit.

Yeah I wasn't trying to get around anything, I am just saying if I were to buy a gun and it clocked in over 300 FPS, since I probably just spend 330 on it already, I wouldn't have much spare to buy a new spring to LOWER the FPS...

My highly upgraded ICS shoots at 355 (with a M120 in it). I doubt VERY seriously that your new ICS will shoot over 300FPS. I know they advertise 330, but seriously, subtract 30-40 FPS.
Please buy your gear from Rick Fisher; perhaps he can buy a Life.

Thanks knuckles. I just don't wanna get screwed with a fully stock gun that I can't use at half the games.

Half? *laughs mockingly* perhaps 10% (at the most) are close quarters battle events . . . . if even 10%.

I didn't say events, I said games... most people don't have huge areas to play games.

Most people come out on saturday, or sunday, goof off in the woods at whatever game is organized up.

Then theres the kids who play in their backyard - and nobody pays attention to them, or gives them any respect, they're not coming out to one of the 'Community Games' - and 90+% of the games around here are out in the woods. If you're playing in your backyard, or at your buddies house, you dont need to worry about our FPS limits anyway.

nah . . . . the litarally THOUSANDS of acres worth of fields that we use on a yearly basis dont count as 'big areas for games' - becuase this guy, who I am going to assume, has never been to one of our games, says we dont.

I think that one of the kids that came with me to the Kevins Backyard game is still back there. He might be hiding under the swing set - he was wearing a really awesome Ghilie suit . . . .
