Gas Airsoft Pistol as sidearm?
I now understand that it would be foolish to buy a MP5K in addition to the MP5A5 for field use. So now I am getting a good side weapon. A Pistol. I am going to be in field, so I want more FPS. Can you recommend a pistol for me? It must be on Airsoft GI or Amazon. Less than 400FPS, but more than about 315FPS. Less than $150.00 USD. The model must be a Colt M1911, Soviet Tokarev TT3, Soviet Makarov PM, or a Beretta... If not, then other models are welcomed.

I am kind of leaning towards the WE Full Metal GBB M1911 Gas Gun and use propane in it (with adapter and oil). But maybe the KJW will be better, but I don't know.

Do all GBB 1911s use the same GBB magazine? are they interchangeable?

Go with the KJW 1911. It is clearly the most powerful gbb pistol I own and is still useable in the field.

Contrary to belief, TM parts do not come with faeries attached. Only a fully assembled TM gun from the factory has faeries.

Just buy the WE parts or some other after market part when you're fixing it. Clean it regularly, lube it up regularly, etc.

My WE has had no problems. Just maintain it. I swear if you begin to ask questions about what to buy or what to do...

i would say stop trying to save 20 bucks and buy a kwa. fps is higher on the kwa, and thats what you want. Instead of going the 20 dollar cheaper route, go kwa because with minimal maintenance it will be amazing.

For clarification I recommend the KJW Hicapa over the WE Hicapa. I have the KJW hicapa and a WE Dragon Hicapa. Some parts are actually interchangeable. The quality and reliability on the KJW is much better. I do actually have some WE 1911 MEUs and they are nice but not as powerful as the KJW Hicapa. Problem with the WE 1911 is in the hotter months the mags tend to bulge under the pressure of the warm gas inside. It can be hard to remove the mags if you don't catch it in time.

Bullshit. MP5K is a great sidearm. Plus if your primary is a MP5A5 you'll probably have interchangeable mags.

Why the hell do you want a pistol anyways? Take your money and put it towards a nice AEG rifle. You already have a CQC gun apparently. A pistol is no good out in the field, other then for 1337 haxxors. Honestly, take your money elsewhere. Pistols are pretty useless in field games. Only use is for CQC.
