Crye JPC vs Emerson JPC

Okay guys I'm doing a MARSOC loadout an I need a JPC but the Crye are kind of expensive and I've never used Emerson products let alone heard of them and the Crye JPCs are like around 248 I think and the Emerson is 128$ I think do help me out her guys it Emerson trust worthy can I crawl in the mud and stuff and stuff and still have it intact and not tear so easy an stuff. This guy loves his JPC.

But you have to understand that it's built to be lightweight and low profile, so put a minimal amount of pouches on. Otherwise it'll bruise the shit out of your shoulders (and sternum/shoulder blades if you have real plates like me) as it has little to no padding for comfort.

Bringing back this thread in lieu of making a new one. Just receivrd my Emerson JPC, looks/wears perfectly for what I wanted. I have a question though, how much is too much for a JPC? I threw a triple mag pouch(holds 6 mags) and a triple single stack on my side. Then attached my hydration carrier to the back. Would that be defined as "slick"?

Since I run an AEG and generally am with a fireteam, I need at least 8 30rd mags. Generally with a few 100rd back ups + a pistol/ mags.

Okay. A JPC is clearly not what you need. A EAPC or a LBT6094A would be your best bet for any real work.

Also, a Pantac/Eagle RRV could also work wonders.

Here is a simpler solution, slap on a 10 speed pouch and you get 3 more mags and it lays flat when you dont need the extra ammo. In my case I run 3 primarys on the vest, 2 secondaries and a multitool in the admin pouch. I wear a Brokos belt with two primarys in kydex pouches and 2 secondaries there too. My IFAC is a tear away and attached to the belt as well. That gives me 6 primary mags and 5 secondary mags total. If I need more down the road, I would slap a triple 10 speed and bam Im up to 9 primary mags or simply grab my patrol pack and load it up with what ever extra crap I need. Keep the vest KISS and you have a winner and it does what the vest was designed to do. The rig was never designed to haul a load. If you need the extra ammo, slap on a small day pack and you can load all the extra mags you could dream of.
