I'd be interested, depending on what it is. That seems a bit vague.

scripted meaning the winners and losers are already known? Scripted meaning the commanders and chain of command are actors as well, or scripted as in the objectives are separated, lane-style, like the BSP impression thing?

It's something I have pondered about doing but then I think of all the COD kids out there and thus my interest diminishes because I don't think many would come.

However I would be interested in it as a player

That sounds pretty cool, almost like an EOD scenario?

Lemme find the video..

I've always thought something like this would be interesting. I've always had this idea of making intel a key part in an event. Give very specific objectives, but each team only has a general idea of where it is, and they have to find and capture intel to get closer to it, and likewise secure their own intel.

Scripted is probably the only way to break out of the box we're in and get some good simulation going on.

If you are looking at how big the door will be, then no. It's filled with fail.
If you're looking to give the more serious mil-sim players an immersive experience then hells yes!

I'd be interested, but it's hard to get enough actors together for that sort of thing and get them all versed in what needs doing. That's why I overfilled acting slots for both Fallout events. In the end, we had just enough people to run everything on game day. Add in that it's difficult to "search" empty buildings and invisible vehicles and you have yourself a nightmare of airsoft logistics.

I will be a guinea pig. Either as an actor or a player. Let's do this fo real. I can think of all kinds of great ideas to make this be a blast.

I don't know, I don't think you'd need TOO many actors to make it effective. Just maybe a few people for one village or something, something similar to the Cultural Training scenarios they do in the military.

I would definitely be willing to help plan something like this also.
