I roll with .20 because in my gun they seem to feed better than other weights. I guess theyre somewhat cheaper too.

I typically use .2 in CQC and .28 outdoors... Then again I have a ton of both anyway. Once it is all used up I'll get more of whatever. Probably .28...

I use .2 because there cheaper, faster, and can shoot farther. Plus its harder for people to dodge them. They also feed very well in my gun.

Sometimes I use .25 if I'm going to a CQB game. Plus they lower my range a bit which is perfect for CQB.

Proper hop and I can lob .25's way further than .2's. Unfortunately they are just that much more expensive so I don't use them terribly often, but if they were a lot more abundant I might use them more.

Matt wrote:For SAW gunners .20g can be cheaper to fire because you get more quantity for your buck. Also, some folks prefer to mix .20 and .25 in SAWs for a larger spread. At least I used to in my 60. But now for most regular ARs I'm running .25g.

+1 to mixed ammo in the box.

Also, .20 works better for me indoors. The increased FPS over .25 means reduced flight time, and that means a better hit probability when shooting at someone moving between chunks of cover. That, and a 25% higher count per bag. And indoors, I spend more time shooting.

My gun seems to like .25 the best. I've tried .28 in it, but it just likes putting out the .25 with better range and just slightly less accuracy I was getting with .28. I pretty much avoid .20. Maybe if I had a pistol or a CQB gun I would run .20.

I've found that whatever weight achieves 330-350fps gets the best results.

I don't really use .20s... But you might just stock up on a VERY SMALL amount for those who still do use them for misc. stuff like m203 shells, pistols, etc.

Beran tossed me a hicap of .30g's to try in a rifle shooting 1.49joules, and I peed with glee at the added distance and accuracy. I refuse to buy anything else now.

I like .23s or .25s in my Type 97. They stay on track better. With my AUG and G3 I still use .2s because the G3 shoots 260 and the AUG is around 330-345. I'm not really going for great accuracy with either of them and they shoot just fine without heavier rounds.

I have recently been shifting towards .23's but when I'm out of range with my .20's, I just get closer.

Only use .25s in everything. Have some .2s for chronoing and that's it.

I always shoot the heaviest BB for my FPS range. From my experience, if all else is equal, the heavier BB will ALWAYS be more accurate.

Accuracy>Range>T2T>Cost That is how I prioritize my ammo performance.

.25s for me are the minimum I use for my guns.

I use .2 in my AK which shoots around 330, they just seem to feed better. The .25g rounds I use in my long rifles, and higher FPS. .25 seems to go through brush a bit better, too.
