Propane and the unreasonably big bottles it comes in

Postby Gator » Tue Dec 20, 2011 1:16 pm

So i like to use Propane in my guns because of the price and its pretty easy to find. But during an OP its sorta a pain when you run out of it and since the bottles are too big to fit in any pouch i have, Is there any pouches that do fit them i dont know of? Btw i already know green gas comes in smaller cans. Any help would be great!

-A SAW pouch.
-Leave at spawn in a backpack.
- Stop using your GBB and use an AEG(unless its your primary...)

Leave it at spawn. Your GBB should be your sidearm and your last resort. Therefore you should only need to gas up after you are dead and at the spawn anyway.

-Nalgene pouches. I think I might need to get one of these for this reason too. http://www.airsoftoutletnw.com/index.ph ... &Itemid=28

WTFH?! I guess I didn't press the edit button on my original post...

Buy more magazines. I've never had a reason to carry gas with my gear. You'll probably just hit the nozzle on something and your whole rig will smell like a fart for the entire game.

Nalgene pouch or Riddick's suggestion if you are really set on having your propane in a pouch that is on your vest. Leaving it at spawn in a bag is best. Jester's explaination is spot on.

I have several gas mask pouches that I often keep gas in. They're great because you can easily throw them over your gear, and if you want to leave it at spawn it's super easy to take off. The main one I use for the Soviet GP-5 gas mask, although technically mine is East German.

I just charge everything with propane at my car, then carry a small canister of green gas into the field to recharge them if I actually end up shooting things with my pistol. The canisters are quite small compared to the propane tanks, and they fit in my hydration carrier, utility pouch, or even an AK mag pouch pretty nicely. I've been doing this for the last four games/ops, and I haven't even finished off a canister of green gas yet.

Take a look at these, I use a CO2 tank / pouch for my landmines and 203 shells. Pretty much the same size as propane canisters
