There seems to be a problem with the photos. I can't access them.

Many thanks to Camp R&R for a great place to host an event.

Looks like the link just opens a large version of that one photo. I did a search and found the page:

AAR:

What was supposed to happen: A game set between two warring factions, with a third, smaller detachment of Special Operations soldiers trying to evade detection while carrying out missions inside of a hot area. It would be an immersive LARPsim event for the SF team, while providing a shoot em up for two other, regular forces.

What happened: Low turnout due in part to weather and in part due to AP not fully understanding the game concept. I only attended one day due to hectic life schedule, so I can't speak for both days.

Improves:

-Admins were good, but we need better marking or zones for them to sit out of the area. Often times games at R and R see a gathering of admins in the city, but not at other points that could be less fun for them to admin or watch. Also, less grouping up of admins. I think I have a few bright vests still at Tonka's from running the CAGE, that I can look for.

-More buildings. The buildings you have so far are awesome, but could use some more work to make them safe and easier to maneuver, especially in the rain with the trenches and multi-level system at the compound. I know you're talking about putting in a few more, and I think another two buildings would make the city a great playing area. Lots of potential. I suggest some wood planks or sandbags to make the trench area that runs throught the center of teh base safer

-Larger turnout. Nobody can plan that, but it would take more community involvement in games trying to do something new. Advertising with flashier colors and an image seems to bring people out reliably. I guess my suggestion would be to plan around low turnouts and be able to switch up the game to handle any size turnout.

Sustains:

-R&R has a great setup with no paintball, a loading area that's covered, tables, camp sites, good mix of terrain and open area as well as the construction of buildings. I think in another year this place will be the premiere airsoft spot in Oregon.

-R&R has a snack shop. They make their own Jerky. This jerky needs its' own bullet point.

-The idea to push normal "flip this flag" games was a step forward. I think the Rangers had a fun time, or at least more intense and harder--something I'd like to do eventually.

-Gameplay was balanced, and there weren't lulls, even with low player turnout. Reminds me of the old days when 12 was a lot of people for a game, only now with buildings and cars to shoot near.
