Santas War 6: the Long Retreat from Santagrad
Last year, Field Marshal VonGrinchus and the 6th Grinch Army was smashed at Santagrad by Santa and the Grand Army of the North in an epic battle that shook the foundations of the earth. Despite Santas army being ravaged by the Grinches, they were able to hold the city, repulse the Grinchs, and by a miracle the elfs of Santagrad showed a will-to-succeed that ensured production of toys never faltered. Christmas was saved for another year.
Beaten, but hardly destroyed, Von Grinchus’es army has fallen back towards Grinchistan, but in their retreat they’ve been following a Scorched-Snow policy, to deny Santa resources to produce toys for Christmas 2011.

Special Rules:
This is a fun and light-hearted game to help the Toys for Tots program that is run by the United States Marine Corps. It is not a hardcore milsim game. Please use extra consideration above and beyond what we're used to using when playing, and remember to have fun. Don't fire excessively at any one target. Remember that some Special Character players (
Such as Santa) may be 'effectively invincible' for whatever reason. Have Fun, and don't get all bogged down in the tiny details.
Normally, when we die, we put a brightly coloured rag on our heads. This game isn't about camouflage, and we're using brightly coloured rags and arm bands to denote which side you're on. Instead, if you're wearing a head-cover, take it off, and hold your rifle over your head while going back to your spawn point. Its inevitable that you'll still be shot, so use consideration when shooting, and understanding when being shot.
Administrators will be on the field, observing major combat areas. To enhance gameplay, sometimes areas will be declared off-limits. The administrators are not out to get you, they're there to keep things running smoothly and make sure that everyone is having fun. If you're having a problem, don't get mad, find one of us, and we'll sort it out.
We will be observing the normal 400fps limit for semi-automatic-and fully-automatic guns in outdoor situations, 330fps for cqb situations, and a 550fps limit for Bolt Action guns. We'll be using .20gram BB's at the chrono station. There are no magazine restrictions.
Please be prepared for the weather. This is the Pacific North West in December. Odds are, it'll rain. Bring a change of socks at the minimum, and we highly encourage everyone to bring a change of clothes. In the unlikely event that conditions become unsafe due to poor weather, we’ll call the game early. Otherwise, expect to play from about 10A-3P
This is an all-ages game - this does not mean, however, that we are there to babysit you. Airsoft is an adult game, and everyone in attendance is expected to act like an Adult. If you are incapable of acting like a mature responsible adult, regardless of age, you will be asked to leave.

Santas War After Action Report
As the Grinch Army fell back away from Santagrad, trailing elements set up with Colonel Chestygrinch of the United Grinch Marine Corps to slow down Santa and the Grande Armee of the North in the area surrounding a small town in the Northern Wilderness. The Grinches plan was to sacrifice themselves to impede the progress of Santas heavy armor divisions - and in that, they were successful. The majority of the Grinch Army escaped to fight another Christmas.
In savage fighting, Santas Army slowly ground away the Grinches blockading forces until they were worn away - but by the time that happened. Casualties were enormous on both sides - the streams in the area where Santas Army and the Grinch Army met ran red-yellow (
Grinch blood, and Elf blood mix about as well as Oil and Water) with the blood of Grinchtruppen and Santas Elven Rangers for weeks.
In the end, the Army of Santa broke through the shattered blockading forces, but the main body was long gone. Santa turned his army around, because delivering Toys to Children around the world was more important than continuing to harrass the Grinch Army. Christmas was saved again.... but at what cost in the broken bodys of dead and injured elves? How many good men and women were lost that day? What dastardly plan was Adolph Grinchler cooking up for next year?
