That Swiss cheese camo is cool. The PALS webbing is a good idea too. I recently Bought some surplus CZ pants and they have pockets on the front of the pants that fit 30 round AK mags perfectly, Glad to see this is an idea being used.

Recent order of call signs by Jon S:

Call signs with OD hook velcro frames stitched over the front borders, per customer request (note...edges were not completely finished...picture shows uneven edges..however, most of my patches will have a little bit of uneven edges anyway):

CADPAT Uniform FCHS (Field/Combat Hybrid Shirt) conversion using a new Potomac brand loose-fit stretch shirt and a genuine CADPAT field shirt. Usually my FCHS conversions have combat type elbow pads integrated into the shirts but this customer didn't request them for this order/request. A CADPAT military shirt torso area was cut out and a Potomac shirt was sewn into the CADPAT sleeves and shoulders..etc. Light modification and reinforced stitching was also done to the neck collar and velcro closure. Velcro on the neck flap and neck closure was taken off, moved and then restitched to better accommodate the neck adjustment
(07/17/11)

Shirt shown with modified velcro collar in closed position. A 7 1/2" "skinny zipper" was sewn into the upper section of the Potomac shirt and part of the CADPAT shirt collar. A small section of seam edge material was also sewn onto the base of the zipper to provide strength between the zipper attachment and shirt area.

Back of shirt (if you look close...you can see the arm pit cut-outs I made to keep the comfort factor with the shirt modification)

Shown with CADPAT pants with incomplete FCHP conversion (cinch straps and calf pocket relocation wasn't completed yet)

A-TACS combat FCHP and FCHS conversions coming up in next few days or so...

$35.00 for single item requests....requester sends me their stretch shirt or loose-fit stretch shirt.

$30.00 for you since you're military.

The A-TACS shirt fought me all the way but I tamed the beast by holding steadfast..LOL! This may just very well be the first A-TACS combat shirt made (or what I call FCHS, Field Combat/Hybrid Shirt). I haven't seen any that I know of yet. I had no intention on making a first A-TACS combat shirt...this was due in part from a custom order by two customers..one in Ireland and another out of Wisconsin.

A-TACS FCHP pants will be worked on tomorrow.

* Dan...I'm working on your multicam order and a bunch of orders at the same time....did the Pachmayr Sig P226 grips work out for you?

Custom A-TACS FCHS Combat shirt with custom additions...new Potomac Field Gear SAND colored shirt in place of A-TACS field shirt torso section... upper center small stretch pocket for small documents..etc...re-located upper velcro neck cuff with padding sewn on the underside of collar next to zipper

I'd say I'm feelin' kinda good....been pounding the weights big time and climbing my a$$ off on some epic Class 5 + alpine climbs....getting back in shape and building a damn decent torso up again  Not bad for a 40 year old..lol! I actually feel better and stronger now than I did when I was 30.

Nope...sorry...that's a "Star Trek" shirt...not a REAL combat shirt.

They may call it a combat shirt but it's a Star Trek shirt.

THE VERY FIRST PAGE OF THIS ENTIRE POST HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT CURRENT PRICING AND OPTIONS.

The photos I put on the page disappear after a while so all photo references can will need to be viewed at my blog site which is posted along with the new info on the first page.

THANKS! Cool

Here's more photos and descriptions of the first A-TACS uniform order I received from another customer...I think it looks great. I didn't think I'd like tan based A-TACS camo but I found it to be good stuff!

New additions to my FCHP conversions include color coordinated, knee hole edge guards for extra durability (note: this OD green edge guard is actually a dark OD green and does not have a shiny surface as seen in the photo. The camera flash made the edge guards appear shiny)

Sir, a question to be posed:
Do you have a solution for the all too common "blowout" of the trousers?

Hah....you know..I've never had that issue with any of the uniform pants I've worn or any pants, for that matter. I suppose I could look into it and see what kind of mod I can do to solve that issue for folks. I do have an idea already....now that you have me thinking on it..(-:

I'll post up about it when after I work out a decent solution.

One thing that would help me is if you and other members told me exactly what problem they have when it happens..such as if it's only when they squat down real quick or if it's simply a fitment problem with peoples sizing or if they are out of shape and that part of the pants is very tight or snug on them due to their specific body type..etc...etc.
