Putting glasses lenses inside mesh goggles

So i need mesh goggles cause my goggles fog up. So i was thinking i could pop each lens into the mesh goggles. Anyone tried this before?

If you put solid lenses under mesh, the solid lenses will still fog. The only way around fogging lenses is to combine the use of contacts with mesh goggles.

Good point Junto and besides it king of defeats the purpose of getting mesh goggles to then add lenses beneath

its the lens of the goggles because of me sweating. the glasses are fine. and i dont do contacts. they feel to weird. thanks tho. i was just wondering if they would fit really. and if there was a way to secure them inside the goggles.

Not really. You will have airflow still going around the glasses and that will help prevent them fogging.

Another option would be to get one of these and rig it to work with those mesh's.

I wear some ESS Land Ops goggles that have been converted to stamped steel mesh by Bitter End. These go over my eye glasses and I dont have an issue with fog. I still apply anti-fog to my glasses because they can still fog being that close to the eye, but otherwise, I have no issues and I like the mesh.

Also I believe if you change the distance and angle of prescription lenses relative to your eyes they won't work properly.

You must not sweat much. Having any sort of solid lens, regardless of the amount of airflow (unless you have a little fan blowing on them like some paintballers) is eventually going to fog. Add in the use of balaclavas and other face coverings that blow hot, moist air on your face when you breathe and solid lenses become a complete nightmare.

If your body produces more heat a moisture than a corpse, get mesh goggles.
