Custom KWA M4

Postby phantom -VSR- » Thu Jun 02, 2011 6:06 pm

Here she is... Right now I have the Daniel Defense 9'' RIS, G&G Fork Flash hider, Madbull 10.5'' outer barrel (needs to be installed), G&P Aimpoint replica, Classic Army PEQ 15, and a Magpul MOE stock. Internally I have a Madbull V2 247mm TB barrel. I'm also running an 11.1v li-poly (15c). I was think maybe a tactical light and grip combo or something like that. Let me know what you guys think.

Not bad.

I would move the PEQ box further back, though. I wouldn't feel comfortable with it that close to the flash suppressor.

Also I'd add backup iron sights, as optics can go down all the time.

Personal preference, I'd raise the optic with a spacer for that mount for your M68, so it's on line with your flip up iron sights, to keep sighting simplified between two sets of aiming devices.

It's the way I wired it, I had to shave the connector to make it fit through the hole. Thanks for the suggestions.

Kind of a silly question but, how are you supposed to fit in the bottom right screw on the RIS? The receiver pin is obstructing it. I looked on the ASGI G4 series and saw that they just screwed in the screw backwards just so it goes somewhere so that's what I did. But without it in the RIS is wobbley.

Take the receiver pin out, then put the screw in.

It shouldn't be wobbly even without that last screw.

I love it; I personally recommend an elbow mount for your aimpoint though.

When I get backup sights I'll get a new mount, that's just the one that it came with.

I have one that's been painted, and I love it (got it from Dan)?
