Gulf War 20th Anniversary.

This year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the Persian Gulf War , commonly known as Desert Storm.
A few of us from Friends of Willie and Joe WWII Living History Group who fought in the war have decided to attend parades and public displays in Desert Storm uniforms as well as set up displays .

Just out of curiosity, is LC-2 appropriate for Desert Storm era or is that later?

LC-2 is appropriate , it is just LC-1 with a few modifications and it came into service around the mid '80s.
There was a mix of gear used during the Gulf War , some units still had M56 gear and M14s alongside M67 and LC-1/LC-2.

Thanks. My belt and buttpack are LC-2. I've been thinking about setting up a Gulf War loadout ever since I started setting up my late 80's/early 90's US, which for me is pretty much finished.

Damn that CVC equipment takes me back. Now all you need is the M-25 gas mask and you've got it nailed.
