NcStar Scopes

Postby Bic 101 » Tue Apr 12, 2011 1:18 am

I don't yet know if the name NcStar is dirt around here, but I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this scope:

http://www.precisionairsoft.com/NcSTAR-Tactical-3-Rail-Sighting-System-4x32-Scope-p/ncs311.htm

Specifically I would like to know if it is worth the money in build quality and sight picture.

Thanks for any help.

I cannot speak to this exact scope, but rather to NcStar in general. I owned this scope:

Good quality - very tight and precision for the money, durable - stood up to two years of heavy use on my rifle, nice illumination, good qual mounting hardware...good value.

A little to tacti-cool for my liking, Sir, but I have used NCStar's to great success in the past.

I would sort of agree Switchback. But I like that the scope has a higher sight line than most scopes and it is relatively cheap.

If it is going on an M16 style rifle, get risers or a carry handle mount.

If I were to get it, it would go on my KWA M4 RIS, which I have a carry handle mount but then it gets way too high.

Thanks Ogre.

If you got a MagPul CTR Stock with a cheek attachment, it wouldn't be bad.
Go with the risers.
