Bio-Shot Ammo

Postby Jester316 » Fri Oct 22, 2010 4:39 pm

I want to know what other people's experience with this ammo is. I've been having feeding issues with this ammo (I have checked with other types to ensure it's not a gun/mag thing). Have anyone else had issues with the feeding consistency of Bio-Shot?

^ +1,

When i started shooting bios, I thought they were causing feeding issues in my mags, turns out I just need to pump 5-10 shots less into my mags for them to feed flawlessly.

I'm talking about what Rick sells (not talking about Rick, just the ammo).

Oh I love those bb's! Always get mine from him. I haven't had a problem with them.

Huh. I've tried not loading the mags full, I've tried different mags. On full auto, my gun will not feed bio-shot consistently. It'll skip around. But using another type of ammo, it works perfectly. Guess my gun just doesn't like the bio-shot stuff.

Yep, no problems here. Probably ran about 10K+ rounds of it through my ICS before it busted.

Dboys M4, stock hop up unit, stock bucking, madbull H-nub, Madbull Black python inner barrel. Again, only this ammo is causing me issues, so it's not the gun.

I just had this issue with some of the AONW bb's (freebies from ATA training) Mags wouldn't feed... full auto was useless... firing every other shot. I thought my mags or AEG's were jacked... Tried some of the Airsplat bb's I got from Rick. My rifles/mags are loading and shooting flawlessly now.

I have a problem with them jamming in the hopup chamber and not feeding in, I think that my hopup is just picky though. Im gonna lube the magazines and the chamber and load a couple less rounds in and see if that helps.

I have heard of some people complaining of the same thing with the airsplat stuff.

I have this new stuff called Friendly Planet Bio, it was tested with about 15 different brands/styles of guns with all kinds of mags. No issues. It was the stuff I gave away at Infidel Bash in the blue bags.

I will give you some jester to replace the ammo that isnt feeding.

I am not sure what causes the issues. If it was simply bad ammo (bioshot or airsplat) it would effect more than a few who report issues.
