We kind of do "get some" too, but I think other groups also use it, to some extent. Viva seems to be exclusively ours in the northwest.

MULTICAM?!?!?!?

The description for Goon Squad seems a little outdated to me. Feel free to correct me, but 1-1 now seems to be more about tight cohesion and coordination as a unit rolling out for the heavy fighting.

It is funny though about the armor and helmets, I'm not sure I've seen Android in a PC or a helmet since quite a while ago. Though as far as gear goes, I do believe that 1-1 rocks out in generally heavy gear. No four midcaps and nothing else loadouts for us!

A protip to all who wish to join: We here at CAG are not about trigger time. While there were a couple intense engagements at the last CAG training, by far the majority of time even out in the field was spent maneuvering, navigating, or lying in defense of a position. We are all about kicking a$$ and unloading plastic during engagements, but keep in mind that CAG has a style that has maneuvering and navigation and tactics punctuated by engagements, not engagements punctuated by maneuvering, navigation, and tactics.

Don't worry. Like stated before, dumping tons of ammo is not are style unless it's during a battle. Even then you will only need 5 mags maximum. If you still need ammo then, I'm sure someone would be kind enough to loan you some.

CAG not only both goes easy on ammo, but we also take care of our own, and more often then not, someone will make a bulk order on ammo, then sell it to the group at their leisure basically at cost (meaning you get a $15 bag of ammo for $10).

Don't forget, if you need a ride, there are plenty of people around that can likely give you one, so don't be afraid to ask.
