AAR - Op: Holy Wars of Alzakistan

I would like to thank the US and ANF for putting up with us all day. Yes we were supposed to be douchebags, but a lot of that was dependent on the checkpoints working, and it sounded like the rules almost prevented you from tacking any action at all in some circumstances. Suma, I hope you enjoyed the note I wrote you, and that your wife's ring made it back safely. That was part of a longer story arc that unfortunately didn't happen. We had an interesting discussion about changes to the rule set for next time, but all in all a good day. Even I had fun, and I was sitting in the village almost the whole day.

The story arc played out. It just ended with most of the people involved face down in a ditch.

- Also, I won't mention names, but there was one member of on of the teams present that lost a lot of my respect. One of the admins was telling this guy something, and this guy was like, "That's not possible." When the admin said he saw a video of it, the man in question was like, "Well, I have someone on my team who was in the Army and [dealt with this stuff all the time]. He served 3 tours in Iraq, so he knows what he's talking about. Hey man, can you come over here and tell this guy that it's not possible? You know [admin], this guy was an ---- in the Army for 3 tours, so he knows what he's talking about." He said it in a condescending sort of manner, and I believe he himself served in the military.

My point - Great, you served in the Army. Please don't be rude and talk down to us as if we have no clue what we are talking about. *MAYBE* the admin was right, maybe he was wrong. Don't hold up your service as an excuse to talk down to other airsofters. It's a bloody game, for heaven's sake.

I hope this wasn't one of my guys. Odds are it could have been as all 8 of us that came are in the military. If it was one of my guys I apologize. I'm constantly having to remind all of us that this is just a game and that the same rules don't always apply. We're opinionated and get carried away sometimes.

Great game, all around. It was good nesting you, Snowman, and hopefully you get some fake SAPIs soon. Anyways, one person getting in with a weapon was Jew, even though he never used it, but anyways, we all know why no one wanted to retrieve it off of him. Also, I'm never bringing my phone on the field again, I don't want to get semi-violated with it again . Also, the cheating civilian you mentioned was Juice, who is notorious for pulling that kind of BS. He may be a douche at times, but we all still love him at the end of the day. Anyways, look forward to seeing you, Helo, and Cello at more games. Oh, and Helo, VIVA LA MUJAHIDEEN!!!

I had no idea the mujas were doing that... All ALF was concerned was getting up that hill, which was fun.

Other than some people not calling there hits the game was amazing... I would go again and it was nice seeing people from AP in RL.
