Female Military Trench Coats

Postby Tank » Fri Jul 09, 2010 2:01 am

So a friend of mine recently saw me in my soviet trench coat and desperately wants one for herself. Unfortunately I cant seem to find any site online that has trench coats cut to fit a female. Does anyone know of a site or store... or person who will to sell a female cut military style trench coat? Do the girls in airsoft land usually end up wearing styles cut for men?

Wearing styles cut for men. There aren't that many uniforms that are cut for a woman's body. The only thing I can think of is flight suits and ABU's.

Trench coats aren't usually worn by most airsofters.

Get it a mens cut, and have her get it taylored to her body shape... its pretty much the only option.

I'd be more inclined to wear my trench coat if they didn't tailor the arms straight down. I want to be able to raise my hands above my head without my jacket coming up to cover my face.

Then buy a French cut.
They're designed for putting your hands over your head.

I've got one exactly like it. I just don't like the way it restricts movement.

Trenchcoats she would almost definitely have to get tailored if she wants them to fit her in a "womanly" way. However, I've seen women's naval wool peacoats at a few different surplus stores. Not sure what look she's going for tho.

I suggest going to Goodwill like I did and getting one there, easy to fix up and dirt cheap.
