CQC night game?

Postby loaf » Thu May 20, 2010 10:56 pm

I don't know if anyone here has done this or plans on doing it, but I thought it would be a great idea. Of course the CQC places run by companies won't be open late enough. I thought this would be a great idea if we had a place to play. More than likely it would be ideal for S.W.A.T. style training because shutting off a circuit breaker before an attack would be fun. I thought of this just know when my neighbor hoods power went down.

True, Whatever it doesn't quite achieve the essence of the game. I feel like an idiot know because the is that and mixed cqc/long range fields. Btw for all you experienced airsofters outside Sherwood is a great place to look for a new field. A lot of people with a lot of property if you were to convince them to charge 5$ per game they would make 500-2000 every OP and about 100 every skirm.

CAGE had some night games.

The problem you run into is that people get hurt fairly easily doing that stuff if they're not trained or wearing the proper gear. You'll never see more than a dozen people together all wearing the proper safety equipment to do this outside of the AP CQC tournaments, so it looks like a very vague maybe.

But good luck! I've done it before and it's a lot of fun if you have tracers and pyro.

When S.O.T.A. trained at CAGE or S4 we usually trained in almost complete darkness. Good for practicing flashlight dicipline.

Dude it's been closed like, what? 7 months?

Anyway, CQC is in a building, right? So if you want a night game (in the dark), why not just turn off the lights?

Try like, a year and 7 months...

Agreed Troy. Some of the best night games I've participated in where held there. With the trains in the background. It felt like the end of the movie Heat.

KA-BAR, now you did it, you are banned for life dude.

FLASHPOINT!!

In Tacoma is in a warehouse and has buildings inside of it. So in a sense its an outdoor game with indoor CQC.

Oh and we can turn out the light in the middle of the day for a night game!

BSP held OP: Silent Night game at the School in Rainier, Oregon. it was a pretty cool night game. 7pm-12am, all the lights were off and we ran several different game styles. It was pretty cool if you ask me.
