That was the third Big OP that I have been to since I started playing in November. I had a blast. I agree that the shitter sucked, but it also did at Faction Wars. With that said, I know it had nothing to do with the Event Staff, and I think that if Matt would have rode the field owners a$$ about it, it probably wouldn't have changed anyways. That is the field owners responsibility and for him to care less is disturbing. I enjoyed played with TF141, great group of guys. The only part I didn't care for that much is Babysitting Sectors. So I bitched in my head, and to Thor, and then realized what the tittle of this event was. So hurry up and wait came to mind and so did someones got to keep this sector so we don't have to walk all the damn way down the hill to respawn. So... I stopped bitching.

Matt- Excellent job!!!

Pacman-Thanks for chronoing and as always, Nice running and gunning again.

And just for the record. Splat Action is expensive!!! Not Thunder Strike.

I'll probably start a gallery on AP tonight with my pics - all from the BRAVO perspective since that's where I was. If anybody else wants access to upload their own pics to the gallery I can grant it - just ask.

As for the video, I believe 2 were being made. The nice fellas from River Ranch Airsoft who were helping to admin made a video - and Bigfoot and his crew were also shooting our official vid. They like to edit things up nice so it may be up to a month before we see it.

I want to first say I had a great time as I always do while airsofting.

Bad: This game was unbalanced from the spawns (no big deal. I like an uphill battle.), and the admins didn't seem to know the respawning rules for the med stations.

Good: I had a bleeding blast with the grenades, and never once saw a problem with the new rules. I would love to see these rules used again.

SOTA: Haven't played with you guys much but it was great to finally be shooting with you instead of at you.

Maddog: Thanks for the shells, and running with us it's always fun. BUY AN AK! DO IT!

Jew & Ogre: Thanks for letting me borrow more grenades I put them to good use. And Ogre thanks for taking that 10 round burst for me.

Alpha: Thanks for giving me stuff to blow up and killing me countless times. By the way what do you guys have against my shins?

Bravo: Thanks for backing me and and saving my a$$ more than once.

Fragistan takes the credit for taking the cowbunker in both rounds. Vogonford in round 1 and myself in round 2.

Also I found a 1911 in my trunk and turned it into Matt. Let him know if you are missing one.

It was fun running with SOTA for once. I'll be sure to do it again guys. :)

Hanging out with a drunk Ogre and Shogun was fun. That and socking Nic in the stomach and knocking the wind out of him for drunkenly trying to kiss me made my night. :)

Awesome OP people! :D

Thanks to Matt for running the show, Ben for heading up 2nd platoon, and Pacman for leading our squad.

It was good, as always, to put some faces to the names on the forum...nice meeting you Chief & Pops. It's great to show up to these things not knowing anyone there, and end up bs'ing with friendly people i happen to park next to.

That shoot-out in round two at sector 10 was E P I C !!!
For me that one fire fight alone was worth the $30. :D
Hiding behind the brush/logs in front of the bunker under heavy fire for most of it made my day. Who was that crazy f**ker on Bravo that did a running leap over the top of my cover and almost landed on me?? lol, (thank you Alpha for shooting his a$$ in mid-air)

The one shitter was the illest honeybucket i've ever seen. i pee'd on someone's dinner before we moved out to the woods. What the hell were the women folk doing? ...there's no way any girl was squatting in there...

Haha that might have been me! Jester was yelling for somebody with balls to go take some freaking ground, so I started vaulting cover and trying not to get shot!

Good game guys, enjoyed freaking Alpha out when they thought I was on their team and I walked up behind them :D Hurray for ghillies!

I found my ASR stock, I had left it in a friend's gear bag after lunch.

Alpha put up one helluva fight for hamburger hill during phase 1!
I talk too much.

I uploaded a few photos I took - they're all from the ALPHA side since that's where I was... Again, if you took photos and you would like to upload to the gallery, just let me know.

Thunderstrike definitely set the standard for the summer.

Thank you sir, I agree Ben was an excellent leader and having you and the rest of Alpha 2-1 raring to go and taking orders made things much more realistic rather than the run off and gun business as usual. Thanks to my whole squad! @Chesty- glad to help everyone get ready for the big OP- Thank you for the jump start leaving my cooler plugged in while chronoing was probably a bad idea :(

Oh right on. It was fun, thanks again Matt.
