Listen, this is not just a field open for our use. This is a privately owned piece of land. We may just look at it as a nice place to deal out plastic death to each other, but to the company that ownes it, its a
MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR piece of realistate. and part of our agreement for use with of the land is that we DO NOTHING that could cause damage to the property. Meaning no fires, pyro or anything of the nature. So no smoke, anyone caught using it on the land will be removed IMMEDIATELY.
Yes, we did run a smoke grenade test at the training prior to OP: Grid 18 at scappose, but it was under controlled circumstances, but that was the only time it will be used on the field.
There is just certain things not allowed on the field, for example:
No fires
No camping
No Pyro of any kind
No damage to the property
No Vehicles
No Real-Steel weapons of any nature
these are just a few of the things not allowed at Scappose. Our continued use of the field is determined on abiding by the company's rules that own the land. If we violate any of their rules we can lose the use of the land, and perhaps any future fields owned by them we might use. Anyone caught violating the rules of the field will be removed immiedately.
So its not that we are 'closed minded' or 'have no sence of adventure' its just that we like having the use of the Scappose field and would like to have continued use of it. And since it is perhaps one of the most common used fields right now, I think everyone is in agreement on matter.
