g&g m14 scope mount

Postby DaNnY4886 » Fri Apr 09, 2010 1:19 pm

hey, sorry for posting a new thread. but i have been putting money into my g&g m14 and i want a scope mount. but, i dont want to spend 60$ on it. there are other brands that advertise it as "tm m14 scope mount" and ive heard that certain tm parts do not work in this g&g. will tm style mounts work? because they would save me about 40$ on something that preforms the same exact task.thankyou in advance for any help.

TM, UTG, Echo1 and CA scope mounts will not work on the G&G model. You have to find a G&G-compatible one. CA made a G&G-compatible one before they started making their own M14s, but they'll be hard to distinguish from the ones they make for their current M14s, which won't fit, and you won't know which you have until you buy it. it's unlikely that the folks at the retail stores will be able to visually tell the difference, either, so asking them might not give you the most reliable answer.

Safest bet is to mow one extra lawn or whatever, and get the one made by G&G. It looks nicer anyway (it doesn't stick up as much).

CA externals = TM externals.
CA internals = G&G internals.

Your mount no worky worky (on a G&G anyway)
