I have some questions regarding the weapon platform limitations. Each side has a specific limit to DMRs, Sniper Rifles, and SAWs. For example, US Forces are allowed 3 DMRs, does that mean we are only allowed 3 DMR type weapons period - or are we allowed 3 weapons shooting at the DMR FPS limit? Could people still use M14 and the like as long as they are under 400 fps? Those are a popular platform, but most folks have them max'd at 400 fps.

On that note, are you going to keep track of who's on which side while you are running chronograph so you know if they have exceeded the number of DMR shooters for their side?

And who's going to enforce this rule? We've got 30 some people signed up for US Forces and only about a dozen on the private forums. Let's just assume that, like every game, NOBODY reads the rules. What happens if a 4th or 5th guy show up with a SAW, are they not allowed to play unless they can find another AEG? Is it then up to the commander to pick the lucky three and tell the others they are shit out of luck?

The limit to DMR is only on Semi auto AEG's that shoot over 400 and up to 475 FPS. Any DMR that is shooting at 400 or less will be considered an assault rifle thus not restricted in number.

Admins will keep track at chrono how many of each platform is being used by all three sides.

If there is an issue with too many of one or more platforms per side it will be handled in this way:
First by giving the preference to first the people that posted on the Ash Bash 3 thread that they were bringing a special weapon platform.
Second then each team's leader will chose who he wants to fill the remaining spots.

IF you are planning on rolling with a special weapon's platform please post which side and what platform you bringing. If you can't post for whatever reason either have a friend post or please bring a back up assault rifle.

Also, do we know starting positions or game details beyond the first page of the thread?

You will in the immediate future. I'm doing my best to get maps for each team up in the private boards, but had an emergency work call last night that kept me from completing them.

Unfortunatly I won't be able to make it due to complications that are out of my control so if you can remove my name from bz Corp that would be grand, hopefully I can make it to the next one, I was looking forward to my first sota game

Me too! Right now it shows 30% chance of showers with 57 as a high. Cross our fingers and hope for the best, but even still, I'm sure we will have a blast!

Right now since it is not one of the primary camo patterns you would be on the hopeful. Any camo patterns that are not on the list will be assigned day of to the team with least amount of people.

A few people from Mithril aren't going to be able to make it. It looks like we will be only bringing 9 people, but one of them will be bringing a support weapon if there is enough room for another SAW gunner.
