Cops+Airsoft=GFTO Cops...

If you walk into an area with everyone holding and aiming assault rifles but hear no booms and bangs, obviously it's not a real gun. You'd also hear screaming, shouting, etc. If anyone's truly dumb enough to think that an airsoft war=real combat weapons, well... I have no respect for them. Besides the fact that there'd be some pretty big duh factors going on. Lastly, for those who get caught on private property or even public property with people around, what do you expect? The average person is terrified, I mean just absolutely TERRIFIED of guns. To most people, cops=safety.(BS in my opinion by the way)

Alright, I know I'm going to get yelled at for my previous post. To all of you who plan to start calling me names and whatnot, try, just TRY to hold yourself back. Think of a counter-argument instead or something.

Thanks! :D

You're kind of an idiot. Wait a few years before talking, typing, or 'texting' again.

Malik, you ARE an idiot.

As for the "Cops are BS for safety" comment, there's a few LEO's on here that I think might disagree.

Oh, and it's their job to make sure the public is safe, and being as airsoft replicas are illegal to discharge in city limits... There's a reason they come out to said "shootings".

This is the problem, Its Idiots calling in the calls about terrorist's with gun's', it's the people playing in area's where they are not suppose to be playing, its the parents that buy there kids there first airsoft gun, its the publics lack of information on our hobby, its the ATF blowing this out of proportion, there are quite a few more reason why airsoft has this image.

So, have some respect for our hobby, obey the local and federal laws, even if you don't agree with them, as it could put our hobby in the underground more than it already is.

I have always petitioned for the responsible use of airsoft replicas.

lets say your a cop, lets say the last few calls have been a pain in the a$$, lets say you get a call that a " man with a gun" call just came in, the caller has said a man with a gun is stalking around and sneeking up on another person.

You come on scene and see the following selection of firearms in peoples hands, what ones are real and what ones are airsoft in this Photo?

I will be interested in your guesses, I say guesses because invarably even with time to study them sitting in a desk chair and being familiar with airsoft rifles and in some cases familiar with real rifles most of you will get it wrong.

Left to right

1 RS/AS

2 RS/AS

3 RS/AS

4 RS/AS

Good luck

If the photo was better quality, I'd be able to tell much easier... But anyways...

3 and 4 are airsoft.

1 is a real AR-15, and 2 might be real, or it's your systema. Pretty sure 2 is your systema thou.

Anyways, I highly doubt the average officer could make that call on the fly, when there's chances of getting shot. Honestly, I wouldn't expect them too, it's quite uncalled for for them to have to deal with airsofters. When we can stay out of the spotlight pretty easily most of the time.

I'm going 1,3,4 are real, 2 is fake.

I think 4 is real, because you strategically covered the markings (or lack thereof if I'm wrong) on the Eotech.

They're all airsoft guns.

Unless you're looking for the safe answer, then they're all real.

i remember when the cops showed up at CQC3 to arrest the guy in the house next to the one we were using. at first we all thought we were screwed, then we found out they didn't give a shit (i believe they were notified beforehand) and they even flipped on their lights for extra atmosphere because the scenario was a LE one.

aside from that there was the vernonia thing that matt mentioned, and i think one minor thing at a game way back when in silverton.
