Aaron was an excellent guy, even though, or perhaps especially because, he was obsessed with tracking me down and shooting me in the a$$ at every game we were at together. This is... really awful news. My condolences to his family and Rentax.

Easily one of the most sportsmanship oriented players I have ever met. This is horrible news.

My condolences to the family and friends.

I am sorry to have not known someone whom so many speak highly of and mourn. From what I hear we could stand to have more like him in our ranks and as our friend. Of course my heart goes out to his family and all of you who know him and will miss him.

Having had the pleasure of exchanging fire, but never actually meeting saddens me. You'll be missed by many on and off the field.

Thank you all for your wishes and an words.
Aaron was by far a better man that I am, he lived his life with both honor and joy and he brought both of these important things onto the airsoft field with him. I brought him to airsoft and he brought me to this community (and many a game) To say he will me missed in an under statement.
Aaron's last game was Op: Steele Talon. He had been battling a what he thought was a cold for about 2 months but decided to attend because he had been itching for some trigger time. Late in the day his legs became pretty weak and he decided it was time to visit the doctor. Aaron had stage IIB Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Aaron researched the shit out of a thing before he did anything about it, and cancer was no different, he tried everything, and when it most of it seemed not to work he tried Chemo, that didn't work, he tried more alternative medicines, and as he went on a roller coaster of ups and downs his cancer just continued to grow. He died March 8th, two month and two days shy of his 24th birthday.

His family and friends will be having a celebration memorial service for Aaron on Monday, March 15th @ 11:30 am if you'd like more information shoot me a PM.

Thank you all again for you wishes and words.

Wow...

Postby book42 » Wed Mar 10, 2010 6:12 pm

I am truly sorry, Rentax. You guys were a bunch'o fun to play with, and against. I think I met you the same time Ka-bar did at A.B.T. Funny, I thought the same thing... "couple a yokels runnin' around with pistols". Then I felt the sting of one of your shots! Well executed, well placed.

He will be missed, sorely. Condolences to all- friends and family.

Sad day for Pacific NW airsoft.

Best regards,
