April 1st and 2nd United Peacekeeper

Postby Nightshot » Tue Feb 14, 2006 1:13 am

This will surely be one of the most challenging, diverse and prop driven event of 2006.

Multiple fields to play and if you are a 2-6 man team that has got skills then this is the event for you.

Guaranteed to be a great time so I hope to see you all there.

This sounds fun. We're trying to put together a 6 man team from APST to attend.

I'll be looking forward to hearing more information about the event location. Specifics aren't necessary, but due to part of the event being a sniper competition, knowing likely terrain appearance would assist with ghillie alteration.

April Event

Postby Nightshot » Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:28 am

Sorry, I know the poster looks confusing but there are two separate events, One is the snipe shootout only which is one day and cost less and the other is the two day tactical sim which is a team based event.

Pictures are posted for the event

Postby Nightshot » Sun Mar 05, 2006 2:02 pm

I just posted pictures of the property. YES the actual land that the April event will take place on. www.airsoftcenter.net/grounds.htm

No different than the post of the pictures for LCV it is just the land and I will not post pictures of the field layouts to keep some mystery. I will also post pictures of some of the props that have been made for this event next week.

All 110 acreas are not pictured but it gives everyone a general idea.

Time is running out so to confirm your spot here is what you can do:
Send me an email with your name and I will add you to the roster.
You have until March 18th to prepay which will give you everything in the players package or if you want to wait until game day it is the same cost but no player package is included.

For a select few folks I will be having a pre game BBQ at the site for some shootout fun the week before the event. I will be sending out invites next week to those that helped make this something positive and help me out with learning how to make this more enjoyable.

I hope to see everyone there.

Update

Postby Nightshot » Thu Mar 09, 2006 9:39 pm

I was provided fps Intel from someone that offered it to me as a gesture to make what I was doing better. Not knowing it was a direct quote from LCV I went with it as it seemed reasonable.

I talked with John Lu today and extended my apology so I will be putting my original fps limits back up this weekend in my own wording.

As of right now the things are still moving forward with the event and I hope people find the time to check us out. On the 27th I will post the address for those that want to Google earth it and possibly show up as a walk on.

It was explained to me today that there have been several event hoaxes just to scam people for their money. With not knowing me I can understand anyone’s hesitation but here are a few facts:

John Lu once started with his first event. Now he has built something that we all rush to participate in. 500 spots sold out in a day. He pointed this out to me today.

I currently have a very distinguished business contracting to the Federal and Local Government Law Enforcement agencies for the past 7 years. www.com-sec.net is the web site address for it.

I only offer this information so people know that I am not going anywhere and would not compromise myself, my company, my employees by creating a fake event to rip folks off.

If anyone wants to only participate for one day, drop me a line and we may be able to work something out. If you are still not comfortable with an unknown I can respect that but without taking a chance you will never know one way or the other.

For all those that have signed up already I will say continue to say thank you.

Cheers,

Bret Hart
