She said I raped her? Well, where there is a Will there is a way. But just remember, if it wasn't Lil, it wasn't Wil.

Holy ****, really? It's reh-tards like you who **** everything up. The second article had the interview with Mr. Martin, explainging the failure of the idea that using a WE as a real-steel firearm.

Then ATF goes to say that the WEs can be converted into "military-grade" weapons. Really. [shame]BATF[/shame]

No, it's from a different news site, and is an INTERVIEW with Brad Martin, owner of one of the few local businesses that feeds AP. The first post is the initial article from KOMO news (read as: Not Koin 6 news) and is solely about the guns getting seized, not about Ben and Brad's reaction, or the fact that they can't be turned into viable weapons.

Let me provide you with visual aid.

Under US Law, any airsoft gun that enters the US without the orange tip can be considered a replica firearm which can then be subjected to ATF & Federal rules and regulations regarding real firearms. The only exception to this is if you are a registered film maker, Law Enforcement or Military. Since Mr. Martin is neither. Customs or the ATF does have the right to confiscate them, unfortunately.

To me it looks like some AFT officer thought he discovered real machine guns entering into the US. But after he set everything into motion and getting other people involved did he realized they were airsoft. In order to save himself the embarrassment of wasting tax payer money in the public's eye and to cover his a$$, he concocted the story that they could be converted into real fire arms. If they really could be converted into a real firearm, I'm sure Mr. Martin would be in jail by now.

Anyway, if any non-airsoft person took the time to read the reader's comments about the article. They will most likely come to the conclusion that the journalist who originally posted it was not a good one since he or she did not check the fact or thought that he/she was duped by the ATF. And that the ATF officer was an idiot because he should know how to tell the difference between a real and an airsoft gun.

well, technically the ATF hasn't even given AONW their full verdict, so once they do, and it turns out they're going to destroy them, then AONW will do a FOIA request.

Honestly, in my un-educated opinion:
I think the only thing you can do to improve the situation is take them to court.
In court, they will be forced to show documented proof that they made one of your rifles fire a live round, and I would even go so far as to show this tape as an example of how little the ATF agent actually knows about firearms.
Best case scenario, you win, possibly recoup your losses of court fees and lost merchandise.
You lose, you lose more money, but the BATF now knows that you are not going to take this sitting down, and maybe that will cross their minds next time they decide to seize something.

Again, that's just my un-educated opinion.
