Its got a revolver and grenades, whats so weird about that?

Edit: Yep, those are speed loaders, wasn't payin' much attention so it looked like there we're spoons coming out of them.

I'm baffled by what Polizei SWAT team uses revolvers, much less in what looks like a Safariland 6004 holster, and nevermind that those are speedloaders, not grenades.

Just seems odd.

I think he was referring to what appears to be an M3 tactical light on the grip of the revolver.

Crazy Germans tape their mags weird....

Just a guess, but I assume it has something to do with always wanting the mag not currently in use on the same side all the time.

Very astute. But this is easily remedied by taping the fresh mag upside down and still pointing the same direction.

Don't know about you, but if something hard hits the primer on that first round, you're lookin' at shot arm, or worse, shot teammate.

Yes of course the risk is minuscule, and you should probably spend more time trying to shoot them before they have a chance to shoot back. On that note:

With no barrel to direct the round, its not gonna be traveling very fast, also since the shell casing is lighter than the round, IT'S gonna be the thing that gets shot out a lot faster and farther.

As far as the tactical gear and a revolver, when I was sent to Norway and did some training with their SWAT guys in my spare time, They were using MP5s and .38 revolvers as their side arms.

Only explanation I ever got was basically "we have them, they work, why change?"
