South Obenchain/Eagle Point site
From Hwy 140, turn onto South Obenchain rd. Follow to the end, go through the yellow BLM offroading gate.
Follow road for 1/2mile, then turn up hill to the left on offroading trail. Once you get past the fence on the left the trail opens up into a meadow surrounded by forest.
Vehicle accessible during summer months, foot accessible all year.

Motion for sticky? Or possibly a link with the google map on the front of the page or under the events tab it could be one of the drop down options?

Carver. Small field, lots of blackberries, near a river. Drove through there yesterday and I was reminded of that field. I think we only ever had a game there 2-3 times.

No idea if it's active. I'm guessing no.

We haven't used it in a very long time, but as far as I know it's still usable. At the same time, there's been development in the area, and the entrance was at one point closed off with some large rocks. Last time I saw, it looked like those rocks had been moved. Rocks or no rocks, there wasn't much parking space at that field and it hasn't been used in ages. It could potentially still be open, I will look into it whenever I'm back in Florence.

Good memory, Matt. That surprised me.

Yeah, that's "Jason Hughes'" field that I was talking about, Carver is more accurate than Oregon City/West Linn, though -- thanks.

Any chance you remember it well enough to find it on the map? I'm trying to find the cliff face along the river also there was a small island there, too, if I remember correctly.

The Albany field at this time is closed down.

We had a practice in there last weekend, and we found out that we do not have permission to use it. My wife is currently trying to the track down the owner of the field to get written permission to use the field for airsoft.
