This isn't the WORST thing to happen to us guys. We have lost much better fields than this one to way more retarded reasons.

We will over come our short comings, we always do.

NO we havent.
Yes, we have. We lost CAGE, the Lebanon field, Strikezone, Gresham... Am I missing anything? Perhpas not better by everyone's standards but Strikezone, at least, could have been a be-all, end all airsoft field.

It's a damn shame that Washington's most active field is down. :/ Someone needs to write a guide on how to keep fields alive, proper zoning, fire codes, etc.

I miss Lebanon and Strikzone.
I forgot about the Crack House as well, though that wasn't really a legal issue.

@ Mattman: 9 acres is smaller than you'd think. 10 really ought to be the bare minimum.

Timber Vernonia was my favorite outdoor field. Lots of cover and close fighting, but still outside.

well the point was that not one of the other feilds that we have lost are even comperable to ABT. Come on you are comparring it to the cage.....
ABT has always ben a constantly upgrading / evolving site that has somthing to offer to every type of airsofter be thay snipers, rifellmen or cqc. Having a on site gun mechanic is a huge bonus and X never evan asked for a profit to fix guns or make glasses he gust wanted people to shoot plastic at. Every doller spent at ABT was an envestment in airsofting and I hope that we can continue to reap the rewards from this investment in time and money.

X, Scrounge..

Well looks like i get the fun of informing the other two Backflow guys Dean & Mike the bad news in the morning. First off it's been an absolute blast getting out there and playing with you. You guys kept it low key, fun, entertaining and ran one hell of a respective field. As i know we wont be alone if you need anything let us know..

Tragic...

Postby book42 » Fri Jan 29, 2010 3:03 pm

If memory serves, Hard Drive and I were two of the first folk up there. Damn fine field... damn fine group'o guys. Some of my favorite games were played out on A.B.T.

X, Scrounge... my heart, my encouragement, and my thanks go out to you.

Fight hard!

THNAKS AGAIN to all who have posted their comments about the ABT Airsoft Battle Field. I have decided that the best plan of attack is to confront the enemy face to face. So I am going to go down to the county building this coming week and see why I can't have my friends come on out and play. I was never told what the real problem was so I hope that a face to face meeting with the knuckle heads who sit in cubes all day long with result in some type of amnesty and I/we can get back to have some good old shootin fun again. Will let you know how it turns out.
