By the way, Riddick, thanks for supplying BBs, helping with registration and driving us up and down that damn hill from Hell. I'm sorry your vehicle got stuck and had to get towed out. Did any insurance cover it??

I was using the bolt-action. I couldn't be sure if my rifle's hop-up was even set right, because every time I'd fire a round, I'd be engulfed in a cloud of gas. Good times. I guess it was working out.

Guys....no more drama

Let's talk about good times...or I'll just lock the thread. This has gotten ridiculous.

For most of the day my spotter and I attempted to skirt around the hot spots and get close to the AXIS CP. At one point after sitting at our vantage point for the better part of 2 hours, we decided to attempt to get closer. Just as I stood up my spotter saw some movement about a 150ft out. I slowly crouched back down and attempted to get a shot. Finally I saw the AXIS soldier in my sights and took the shot which not only hit him but seemed to startle him as well.

After this we moved up to the road (the second time that day) and were spotted once more by two observant sentries that were stationed there. We attempted to shoot-n-scoot through the orchard, but were ultimately stopped by a third sentry who had managed to flank around and get us from behind. After we called our outs both side took a second to shake hands and the AXIS soldiers walked us back down the hill to the bunker at the crossroads.

These events and the people involved (I can't remember specific call signs) were the highpoint of the day for me and my spotter. Great game

I was told about that after I got back up there.

Despite how frustrating it was knowing that we would have to sneak all the way back there, it was nice to see great sportsmanship and overall friendly conduct. That made it alright for me. Unfortunately my gun broke about 20 minutes after that.

I think the best part of the day (for me at least) was taking the castle. After the Axis took it, it just seemed like we would never get it back. For about twenty minutes you guys kept us pinned down in the buildings to the left of it, and it looked like you might overrun the city. But someone called in an airstrike and we ran pell-mell into hell to take it back.
"Why do you need a GUN?!"

I heard the Axis of Justice called in that airstrike/mortar fire.
Can anyone confirm that?

All I know is that no one ended up moving into it quick enough on the AXIS side after they called it so four of us ran back to the castle and got it back no problem. Stuck my gun through one of the slits and got four or five guys that were just standing around wondering what to do next.

With some plexiglass and some cathode tube lights yes. But I can't promise it will do anything beyond looking pretty.
