For those who like WWII airsofting here is a look at some footage i shot at an airsoft site in Scotland called quite simply 'The Hill'

Looks like I'll be going to Scotland next year as my mother-in-law is from Glasgow and we're planning a big family vacation. I'll have to hit you up as to where to look for kit over there, my usual impression for airsoft and blankfire reenactment is Brit Para.

It would be great to meet up and get you along to POW m8, you would feel right at home with all the U.S Airborne we have and your adopted Brit Paras.

I'm familiar with SoF, ordered quite a few things from them when the exchange rate was ideal last spring. However, where the rate is at now it makes them cost prohibitive

I'll have to ping you when I know more when we are going.

Hehehe.. adopted! I chose Brit Para because everyone over here does US Airborne and I've always had a fondness for the Commonwealth equipment. Here's a pic of some of the Brit Paras at a combined blankfire/ airsoft event (over 100 participants). I'm the last in line on the right...

Do you guys manage to stay organized in units or does it become a hodge-podge of "all Axis vs all Allies"

During WWII games we normally find at POW that the Allied players are a bit more unit orientated with their uniforms so we have U.S Airborne and British Paras combined with S.A.S.

The Germans on the other hand are a bit more of a mixed bag at times although myself, scoutthedoggie and a couple of other guys all have the same Oakleaf smocks and helmet covers so we have tended to group together and it looks pretty good. Too many of the German players wanted to stand out and now they are seeing the downside of it in photographs and basic team building principles.
