Standyby for incoming transmission...

TO: Supreme Commander, Red Army
RE: Latvian Campaign for the Motherland

Sir, I am unhappy to inform you that we have suffered heavy losses in Latvia in pitched battle. Despite heroic efforts of our Spetsnaz sappers in their assault on the US backlines at the end of round 1, and continued red resistance by commandos, rangers and security forces in round 2, it was the fateful bridge, tactical airstikes and use of Nuke u Lar Veaponry (and perhaps the muddy climb to the distant respawn suppy depot on the back corner) that has decimated our weary forces. Accordingly, We have withdrawn our troops and are regouping on our borders.

The US Forces will certainly gloat in their braggert manner over the captured bridgehead. Hmmph!

Comrades Unite!!! I urge you to punish the Americans and that PLA for their airsoft war crimes and general good-natured pride and insolance!. Let us resume the glorius Red Campaign at End of Lies. We must join the OPFOR sim_ insurgency resistance in December Comrades they need numbers!! The Red Army is the Best!

Sponsors, ABT, Airsoft Ammo, Bad Karma, Players - THANKS!, Great Game!

Yeah that field was slippery as hell, except down along the river, where at the end of the 3rd round I actually got stuck in the mud, and needed to get help pulling my foot free!

Oh, I got knee deep in that crap a few times. Not the worst mud I have been stuck in though. Maybe if you had gone the sniper challenge you would know what I am talking about. ;)

Great game overall. A part of me wished I could have died in an airstrike or nuke, just so I can ham it up as being dead (flailing & screaming like I was on fire). Even though I spent the 2nd round was spent just sitting on the right side of the field holding the bridge, it became important when the Russians stormed that corner at the last minute.

@US Forces commanders: Great job on keeping everything coordinated.

@Chefzilla: Thanks for letting me use Miss Piggy. It's great to know that it was just a jam and not some internal problem that was causing the malfunction in the 2nd round. I know that will be my 2nd Airsoft purchase, though I still need to decie if I want to go new with the E4 or classic with the VN.

@Russian forces: You were great adversaries, and many a time I've been shot in the head by crack snipers. :(

@ SOTA & ABT: Amazing game. Best bang for the buck, even though the hill climbs weren't fun due to the aformentioned mud & leaves.

Fun times were had later, even though I find it amazing that BJ's would have a reservation for another person named Karma saved instead of for us.

I'll be looking for more games run by Soldiers of the Apocalypse. Extremely well organized and great sets of rules.

To concur, it was a huge blast.
