Well, this was my first AEG, and my first attempt at tiger stripe snow camo...

I'll try to get a better pick later.

Just did this to my never been fired GP M4A1; Base= Rustoleum specialty camo, Acrylic hand painted accents, then light spray witht the rustoleum to kill any semigloss of the acrylic. Feedback is encouraged.

Looks pretty decent. I would try to break up the outline a little more, but other than that it looks good :D

i'm very impressed by that, i think if you took a picture with the gun near some nature, it would do the gun the justice it deserves...

yeah, also note that these pics were taken with an iphone, poor direct overhead light, and not five minutes after painting so no wear at all. Maybe I'll put a little scotch brite to it if it stays a little glossy. I'll try to get some of it in nature and put them up.

Liquid: by breaking up the outline, are you referring to leaving the design more vague near its edges, so you do'nt see a "camo M4" against whatever the background is?

A lot of your camouflage pattern follows the lines of the gun. To make it more effective, paint it on as if you were painting a flat surface larger than the gun, so the pattern would continue if the gun were bigger, do you understand? It sounds a little vague reading that in my head, so let me know if you're confused.

The pattern is far too small, from more than twenty yards away, you'd never see the green, it would just look like a rifle with a greenish tint. Use colors that contrast more, for example large tan swaths on a black surface makes it look like several black bits, rather than one large one.

Hope that made sense. I just worked an 11 hour day, so I may not be as coherent as I think. :P
