WHAT: Mithril Presents a free screening of the movie Hard Boiled by Director John Woo, starring Chow Yun-Fat.
WHERE: The player lounge of PDX CAGE
WHY: Because there is a big a$$ projector not being used, so we'ze gonna use it aaight?
WHEN: Friday the 8th, starting at 6PM
HOW MUCH: It's free, can't you read? Bring your own food or drink, or if your feeling generous, bring enough for everybody!

Mobsters are smuggling guns into Hong Kong. The police orchestrate a raid at a teahouse where an ace detective loses his partner. Meanwhile, the two main gun smugglers are having a war over territory, and a young new gun is enlisted to wipe out informants and overcome barriers to growth. The detective, acting from inside sources, gets closer to the ring leaders and eventually must work with the inside man directly.

This is an event you WON'T want to miss.

Join us Friday night at PDX Cage for Hard Boiled!

(Disclaimer: this event is in no way sponsored or conducted by PDX Cage or it's staff. This event is the work and responsibility of the members of Mithril, and Mithril alone. All media is the property of its respected owners. If you think what we're doing is illegal, you'd best not show up, so you don't get zipcuffed and felt up like the rest of us inevitably will for showing a movie to anybody other then ourselves, because the FCC wont let me be or let me be me so let me see, they try to shut me down on MTV but it feels so empty without me)

Sounds Awsome, I probably wont make it even tho I have to drive within like 1/4 of a mile Right at that time on that day.

It is my understanding that if you don't charge for addmision its not illegal, We used to do it at a campgroud every weekend.

They can't charge money for viewing the movie without paying royalties... but it is legal to charge for, say, a mandatory $2 popcorn ;)

Well, this isn't a way to make money, it's just a way to get my team and our 100 closest friends together to watch movies that knock our socks off.

We MAY host a game at the CAGE after the movie, but that depends if we're tired from giving Fred swirlies all night long in the CAGE's grungy a$$ toilet.

Are we required to get all geared up for the screening?

Good, I would not have shown up otherwise.

Now I'll definitely be there.

Dont worry Phil, if this goes well, we're going to do a movie every couple of weeks most likely.

We're open to suggestions as well, if you think of an awesome movie you'd like to see on the big screen, let us know.

Damn, a good movie with new friends (Hard Boiled) or a crappy movie with my old friends (G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra)?

Heck, I'll catch that crappy movie some other time. My AEG's are in the shop but it's not like we'll be shooting the screen.

Right? :)
