WAIVER: All participants need a signed copy of the Airsoft Pacific Waiver and the Splat Action Waiver.

GENERAL EVENT DETAILS:
Airsoft Pacific and Airsoft Ammo Supply bring you a unique opportunity to come out and enjoy a game based on one of our favorite OPs of all time, GRID 18! We're working together with Splat Action to support the Oregon Food Bank by requiring players donate 4 cans of food as part of their entry fee. Come support a good cause with your donation and pay a field fee of only $10 to participate in the game. The game takes place Sunday August 9th, with camping available (additional $5 fee) for those who wish to camp out Saturday night (opens at 3pm).

BACKSTORY:
After 2 years of being completely quarantined and walled off from civilization, Grid 18 has finally resurfaced on the map. A recent change in the presidency has revealed that TOP SECRET research of Bio Agent 22, a very deadly and untraceable chemical weapon, has continued under the nose of certain government officials for the last year.
Little is known about what has been discovered about Bio Agent 22 since the original project was shut down in early 2006. Research and development of the agent was allowed to be conducted in secret by a third party company, the Sim-X Corporation. As far as we know, Sim-X has not been required to report to anyone for some time and has not been in regular contact with the government on recent developments.
Intelligence indicates talks of a new bio-chemical weapon which has piqued interest of North Korea and other foreign markets. As described, this chemical acts just like Bio Agent 22. Considering that this is now a huge threat to our national security and a massive mistake to allow research to continue in the first place, the President has decided to occupy Grid 18 with a National Guard Unit and shut down the operation for good.
The Sim-X Corporation and their own security have been ordered to stand down, but have yet to offer any response to the government's demands. It is unknown if the facility is still active, and if so how much personnel may be present. Because of the risks of the chemical going airborne and effecting nearby towns, the only option is to send light infantry units.

HOW TO REGISTER (200 Maximum capacity):
REGISTRATION IS FULL
We're sorry - we're at our maximum player capacity for the event, so we are no longer accepting registrations. However, you may be added to a waiting list if you want to be on standby in case somebody has to pull out of the event.
- Teams: RSVP with a post below with name of team, side you want to play on, how many total from your team (post a roster), how many are camping Saturday night (if any).
Individuals: RSVP with a post below, indicate which side you want to play for, and if you are camping Saturday night. If you intend to bring a guest or guests with you, indicate how many guests if they aren't going to sign up themselves.
The player cap is limited to 200, register while we still have open slots. Due to the limited player cap, please INFORM US IMMEDIATELY if you can't make it so that we can free up your spot for somebody else. Thank you!
CURRENTLY SEEKING ADMINS / COs
Admin and CO players will get free admission to the OP and be given a raffle ticket. We need admins per each side to ensure gameplay, and we'll need 1 CO per each side to assume leadership of operations. You may appoint platoon and squad leaders as necessary. You'll work closely with game administration on relaying objectives and planning the strategy for your entire side. Contact me if you are interested.
